Minutes of the 1st Regular Session of the Sangguniang Kabataan
held at the Barangay Armeña, Barangay Hall on November 25, 2023.

Present:

CALL TO ORDER

The Regular session was called to order by Hon. Mary Claire


Turado who presided the session at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
Hon. Racy Subrevilla conducted a prayer to get things going.

ROLL CALL

All of the members of the Sangguniang Kabataan were present


therefore the chair declared the presence of quorum.

MINUTES OF THE PREVIOUS REGULAR SESSION

CALENDAR OF BUSINESS

A. UNFINISHED BUSINESS - None


B. BUSINESS OF THE DAY

1. SK Uniform
- Hon. Mary Claire Turado suggested to wear jeans and a
shirt to be used during meeting and a closed-toe shoes. All SK
officials agreed to wear the aforementioned attire.

2. SK House Rules
- The regular monthly session, which takes place in the
Barangay Hall on the first Saturday of each month at 2 o’clock,
is governed by house rules established by the SK Council.
- SK Official with 3 consecutive 30 minutes late is
considered absent.
- SK Official having an urgent emergency with a valid reason
will be voted by the rest of the SK Officials if he or she will
be marked absent.

3. Selection of Committee of SK Organization


 Health - Hon. Fatima Mae Diate
 Education - Hon. Gracely Jill Rubin
 Economic Empowerment - Hon. Divine Grace Ortiz
 Social Inclusion and Equity - Hon. Machienelen Mobe
 Peace Building and Security - Hon. Carlo Villarubia
 Governance - Hon. Ma. Rucel Allosada
 Environment - Hon. Racy Subrevilla
 Global Mobility - All SK Officials
 Agriculture - All SK Officials

4. The council has also initially planned an activity for


the upcoming year 2024 which will be further discussed next
meeting.

ANNOUNCEMENT
The next session will be held on the 2nd Saturday of December for
most of the SK Council members have another appointment on the
said date.

ADJOURNMENT
At precisely 3:20 in the afternoon, the chair adjourned the
meeting on Hon. Turado’s motion, which was seconded by Hon. Mobe,
as there were no further matters to be discussed.

All SK Officials wear the aforementioned attire which is a shirt


paired with pants.

The council has initially planned for the upcoming sports fiesta
tournament. All the council members participate in suggesting
different activities of the selected sports such as volleyball
and basketball. It will be discussed further in the next session.

meeting on Hon. Turado’s motion, which was seconded by Hon.
Subrevila, as there were no further matters to be discussed.
