approved dust masks.
P260 Do not breathe dust.
P264 Wash thoroughly after handling.
4. First-Aid Measures
When seeking medical advice take this safety data sheet with you.
Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. Dust
in throat and nasal passages should clear spontaneously. If not, irrigate nose and throat with clean
water for at least 20 minutes. Seek immediate professional medical attention.
Eye Contact: If In Eyes: Quickly and gently blot away any dry powder. Irrigate cautiously with large
amounts of water for at least 60 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do.
Continue rinsing. Do not rub eyes as this may cause addition irritation or damage. Seek immediate
professional medical attention if irritation persists.
Skin Contact: Quickly and gently blot away any dry powder. Under running water, remove
contaminated clothing, shoes and leather goods. Continuously flush contaminated area with
lukewarm, gently flowing water for at least 60 minutes. If skin irritation or rash occurs, seek medical
advice / attention.
Ingestion: Do not induce vomiting. If vomiting occurs naturally, have victim lean forward to reduce
risk of aspiration. If conscious, wash out mouth with clean water. Drink 1 cup (240 - 300 ml) of water
followed by dilution with milk if available. Never give anything by mouth if victim is rapidly losing
consciousness, unconscious or convulsing. Seek immediate professional medical assistance and
contact Poison Information Centre (Australia - 13 11 26, New Zealand 0800 764 766).
Symptoms Caused by Exposure
Acute: Irritation to skin and mucous membranes.
Delayed: Precautions should be taken to ensure that dust is not inhaled; however, long-term
exposure to high levels of dust may result in damage to the lungs.
Medical Attention and Special Treatment
Move person to fresh air and away from exposure. Wash and clean eyes or skin as described above.
Ensure eyewash facilities are available.

RNC INTEGRAL CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY (M) SDN. BHD. (Co. Reg. No.: 436178-D)
2.1 Concrete shall be water cured and in place for at least 14 days, preferably 28 days.
2.2 The substrate must be structurally sound and free of all traces of contaminants, loose and
friable particles, cement laitance, sharp edges, oils and grease etc. To handover the structure
in such condition that apart from final surface cleaning.
2.3 All structural defect such as cracks, honeycombed, protruding object and undulations to be
repaired and / or removed.
2.4 All penetrations, including piping systems, and through-concrete structures, etc. are to be
properly and permanently positioned.
2.5 Minimum 150mm thick R.C Kerb is required between wet and dry area.
2.6 Bricks / Block surface to apply thin layer of cement render to the height of the upturn to
receive waterproofing coating (if applicable).
3.1 All intersections of horizontal and vertical surfaces should be profiled with mortar fillet of
25mm x 25mm (sizes vary depending on site condition), allow to air dry.
3.2 Prior application, surfaces to be thoroughly cleaned and free from grease, oil and loosely
adhering particles, etc.
3.3 Stir well XYLASTIC-250 in order to achieve a homogenous mixture. Let it settle in order to let
entrapped air escape.
3.4 XYLASTIC-250 can be applied by roller, trowel, squeegee or by airless spray equipment.
3.5 Apply one coat of XYLASTIC WEP primer @ 0.12 – 0.15kg/m2. Allow for dry.
3.6 Apply 1st coat of XYLASTIC-250 @ 0.70kg/m2 and allow to cure.
3.7 For reinforcement system, when the 1st coat is touch dry, lay a layer of heavy-duty fiber mesh
onto the 1st coat. Then, apply subsequent coat(s) @ 0.70kg/m2 per coat to desired
requirement and allow to fully cure.
3.8 For skirting treatment, apply 300mm high (and/or others specified high) at vertical surface
and/or 50mm downwards for down pipe.
3.9 The final coat of Xylastic-250 shall be applied by using roller to provide a smooth and nice
finish.
3.10 The newly applied XYLASTIC-250 coating must be cured for 12 to 24 hours (depending on
climate and ventilation conditions) before proceed to subsequent work / water ponding test (if
applicable).
3.11 For exposed roof system, apply two (2) coats of XYLASTIC-250 TC aliphatic polyurethane
coating as the protection to XYLASTIC-250 at total 100 microns wet film thickness.
4.1 XYLASTIC-250 must be applied on defect free concrete structure, bondek and precast slab
are not recommended, all structural defect such as form tie hole, cracks, honeycomb and etc.
To be repaired by Main contractor prior to the application of XYLASTIC -250.
RNC INTEGRAL CONCRETE TECHNOLOGY (M) SDN. BHD. (Co. Reg. No.: 436178-D)
4.2 Ensure the previous coating is touch dry before applying the subsequent coat. Touch dry is
when the surface coating drying state can be lightly brushed away without damaging the
surface of the coating.
4.3 Drying time between each coat of XYLASTIC-250 is around 6 to 8 hours, fully cures between
12 to 24 hours depending on climate and ventilation conditions.
4.4 If any puncture or damage is evident, XYLASTIC-250 coating can be repaired. Clean the
damaged area and recoat with the built-up system.
