Robotics is quickly changing several industries and propelling innovation on a global scale. Engaging in this
curriculum will help you gain important knowledge and abilities that could lead to intriguing job opportunities in
engineering, automation, and technology.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this curriculum, you will:
PREREQUISITES:
No prior robotics experience is required for this curriculum. However, a basic understanding of concepts in science,
technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) will be beneficial. A curiosity to explore and a willingness to learn
and experiment are the key ingredients for success in this course.
MATERIALS AND RESOURCES:
Throughout this curriculum, we will primarily use the LEGO Mindstorms EV3 robotics set. This comprehensive kit
provides the necessary components, motors, sensors, and a user-friendly programming interface to bring your
robots to life. In addition to the EV3 set, we will make use of various tools and resources, such as LEGO Mindstorm
EV3 Software, Virtual Robotics Toolkit (V.R.T), Virtual Robotics Games (V.R.G), Studio 2.0 and supplementary
materials to support your learning journey. N/B: Most of this tools and resources requires internet connection.
We're very excited to have you along for this thrilling robotics adventure. As we explore the endless possibilities of
robotics together, be ready to unleash your creativity, problem-solving abilities, and STEM enthusiasm!
