FOOD LOSS & WASTE REDUCTION POLICY


(Incl.Waste Handling)

We, at R.K. Ganapathi Chettiar are committed to reduce the “Food Loss & Waste” during the
Raw material receipt, Processing, Storage and Despatch of Ghee through the following
initiatives.

- Providing awareness on Food Loss & Waste to all employees.

- To collect data on Raw material, Product Spillage and Packaging Material wastage due to
transit damage / Internal handling / Leakage.

- Setting objective to reduce 50% Packing material wastage by Sep’ 2024 & Zero Spillage of
Ghee.

- Not for Profit Donated products are ensured for its Quality and Food Safety & Donated
products are ensured they are within the shelf life.

- Clarifier sludge is disposed safely through local vendors.

The above process has no any negative impact on Food Safety.
