The San Jose Community College, as a part of Country’s educational system shall
primarily provide advanced Professional instruction in the field of Bachelor of Science
VISION Provide students a better future through quality education. MISSION in Business Administration, Education, Culture and Arts and other fields of disciplines.
It shall also promote research, extension services and adhere to progressive
leadership in all areas of discipline and responsibilities.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES: This course aims to improve students understanding about the basic and fundamentals concepts, strategies and techniques in martial arts. They will also recognize the overall wellness benefits of the training as a lifetime
physical exercise activity. Completing this course, students should be able to:

a. Participate in moderate to vigorous to physical activities (MVPAs) in accordance to national and global recommendations on physical activities for health.

b. Develop balance, coordination and flexibility through self-confidence and self-discipline.

c. Apply and assess the different kinds of rolling and falling techniques.

d. Demonstrate combative techniques unarmed and armed (knife and arnis).


e. Identify and Perform basic kata/form.
