PROJECT GUIDE LINES:

Kindly note that Economics project work consists of 20 marks for internal assessment
DO THE RESEARCH WORK ON THE TOPIC CHOSEN BY YOU AND COLLECT
AUTHENTIC INFORMATION.

Topics can be current (like skill India, Startup India, unemployment, human
capital formation, Inflation etc. Or your chapters of Economics Books.
From Micro Economics and Statistics

(any one topic)


It is an individual project work, do not copy paste.

Submit the same positively by 1st week of July 2024

REQUISITE INFORMATION MUST CONSIST OF COLORFUL PICTURES RELATED


TO THE INFORMATION (FROM MAGAZINES, NEWSPAPERS, EDITORIALS ETC)
(You can divide your project in to two parts (15 pages for half yearly and 15 pages
for final year)

Project should be of 3,500-4,000 words (excluding diagrams & graphs),


preferably
 Hand-written, no plagiarism, own original work
 Each learner will present the research work in the Project File

Must keep in mind the following guidelines for preparing your project work:
Source of information should be reliable like economic times financial express,
business standard, Mint newspaper etc. recently published extracts from the news
media, government policies, RBI bulletin, NITI Aayog reports, IMF/World Bank reports
etc., after detailed discussions and deliberations of the topic

The CBSE Economics project file should be structured in the following sequence:
1. Cover Page: Include the project title, your name, school name, and academic year.
2. Acknowledgement: A brief section thanking those who helped you with the project.
3. Index: List of contents with page numbers.
4. Introduction: Explain the topic, objectives, and scope of your project.
5. Research Methodology: Describe the methods used for collecting data and analysis.
6. Body of the Project:
o Theory: Explain the economic concepts relevant to your topic.
o Data Analysis: Present the data collected with appropriate graphs and charts.
o Case Study/Comparative Study: If applicable, include a detailed study.
7. Conclusion: Summarize your findings and provide your own viewpoints.
8. Bibliography: List of books, websites, and other resources used.
9. Appendix: Include any additional material like questionnaires or interviews.
10. Viva-Voce Preparation: Prepare a summary or key points for the oral examination.

File proper card board file, neatly covered (preferably while chart paper)

File Format: Handwrite your project report on A4-sized sheets. You can use
either ruled or plain sheets.

Following essentials are required to be fulfilled for its preparation and submission.

1. The total project will be in a file format,

2. The project will be handwritten.

3. The project will be presented in a neat folder.

 Introduction of topic/title
 Identifying the causes, consequences and/or remedies
 Various stakeholders and effect on each of them
 Advantages and disadvantages of situations or issues identified
 Short-term and long-term implications of economic strategies suggested in the course of
research
 Validity, reliability, appropriateness and relevance of data used for research work and
for presentation in the project file
 Presentation and writing that is succinct and coherent in project file
