Ans: (c)
1900
Sol: Leap year should be evenly divided by 4: = 475
4
If the year is evenly divided by 100, then it should also be evenly divided by 400 .
1900
= 19 [evenly divided by 100 ]
100
1900
= 4.75[ not divisible by 400 evenly]
400

Sol: n = 1 + 12 + 60 + 160 + 240 + 192 + 64
𝑛 = 1 + 3.22 + 3.22 . 5 + 5 × 25 + 3 × 5 × 24 + 3 × 26 + 26
(𝑎 + 𝑏)6 = 𝑎6 + 6𝑎5 𝑏 + 15𝑎4 𝑏 2 + 20𝑎3 𝑏 3 + 15𝑎2 𝑏 4 + 6𝑎𝑏 5 + 𝑏 6
𝑛 = 1 + 6.2 + 15.22 + 20.23 + 15.24 + 6.25 + 26
𝑛 = (1 + 2)6 = ((1 + 2)2 )3 or ((1 + 2)3 )2
which is perfect square as well as perfect cube

3. The number 312 + 29 + 3(3 × 64 + 65 ) + 26 is

Ans: (c)
Sol: Let the numbers 12x and 12y, here HCF(x, y) = 1
LCM(12x, 12y) = 12xy = 168
xy = 14….(i)
Also 12x + 12y = 108
x + y = 9…..(ii)
Form (i) and (ii)
x = 7, y = 2
Numbers are 84, 24
Difference = 60

LCM (1, 2,3, 4.......200 )

Let the two numbers be x and y
 x = 7a and y = 7b, where a and b are co-primes.
We have, x  y = LCM  HCF
7a  7b = 1001 7
ab = 143  (a, b) = (1, 143) or (11, 13)
 There are two pairs of numbers.

h 7
b = 3x and h = 7x
Volume of cuboid = l  b  h
20 42 = 5 2  3x  7x
20 42 = 5 42x 2
20 = 5x 2
x2 = 4
x = 2 units
Breadth = 3x = 2 3 m
Height = 7x = 2 7 m
