BPOC RESOLUTION NO. 10 SERIES OF 2022

A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE SANGGUNIANG BARANGAY OF TIBGAO TO PASS OR ENACT THE


APPROPRIATE LEGISLATIVE MEASURE DESIGNATING SMOKING AREAS IN THE BARANGAY

WHEREAS, the Presidential Executive Order No. 26, S. 2017 enjoins all local government units to prohibit the
access of minors to tobacco products in order to achieve its aim to provide an environment free from the ill-
effects of smoking;

WHEREAS, the Barangay recognized the need to identify a space or place with proper ventilation to be
designated as Smoking Area subject to the specific standards provided in Presidential Executive Order No. 26,
S. 2017 and Republic Act No. 9211;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of KGD. ROXAN E. MORANO duly seconded by KGD. GENIDINE T. FRANCO and
duly concurred in by all members of the Barangay Peace and Order Council, be it resolved, as it is hereby
resolved, to recommend to the Sangguniang Barangay the enactment of an appropriate legislative measure
designating Smoking Areas in the Barangay;

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this Resolution be furnished the Sangguniang Barangay of this Barangay
for information and guidance.

ADOPTED, this 6th day of April, 2022 at Tibgao, Canaman, Camarines Sur.
