USA, in 2010.

2. Find synonyms
- Graph = pie charts
- Shows information = compare data = details statistics = illustrate data
- Weekly = per week
- Expenses = expenditures
- USA = America

3. The pie charts compare the expenditures, per week, in the United Kingdom and
America.

Overview

When we look at static graphs we should be looking for:

● Highest values
● Lowest values (can be omitted sometimes)
● Any significant exceptions? (In some special cases)

Overview

Overall, while the percentage of spending on rent was the highest in the United
Kingdom, it was food in America. Additionally, expenditures on DVDs accounted for the
lowest proportion in both nations.

Given is a graph describing the employment rate between males and females in four
different nations in the year 2002. Overall, the proportion of men in the workforce was
more prevalent than that of women in all four countries. Moreover, the percentage of
workers in Norway was the highest for both men and women.

Given is the table illustrating the proportion of consumer expenditure for three groups of
products and services in five nations in 2002. Overall, while the largest percentage of
consumer expenditure in each country was on food, beverages, and tobacco, the
lowest went on entertainment and learning.

questionnaire, in three English metropolises, in 2009. Overall, the most popular housing
option in Liverpool was apartments, while the highest rate of participants in London and
Manchester liked semi-detached houses. Additionally, the least favourite choice in all
cities was terraced houses.

generated by different sectors of the coffee industry. Overall, while people in Europe
are the major consumers, South Africa is the largest coffee producer among the given
countries. Additionally, logistics companies earn higher profits than other sectors in the
supply chain.

village of England in 2012. Overall, the participation of boys dominated in most sports
activities except for badminton and swimming. Moreover, hockey was the least preferred
sport for both genders.
