V. RATIONALE:
The Department of Education hones the skills and full potential of the
youth especially the learners that is parallel to its vision and mission. With this,
there are roster of activities and programs which are carefully planned and
undertaken that transpired in different schools. Cawag High School
(Resettlement School) takes its part in the department's aforementioned goals.
Hence, the school will initiate a two-day school-based sports Fest. The latter is an
avenue in instilling fitness awareness, discipline, patience, brotherhood and
camaraderie between and among learners and teachers. Hence, sports is a total
physical response that may contribute to the holistic development of a human
being.

VI. OBJECTIVES:
This activity aims to:
a. Inculcate DepEd core values particularly being Makatao between
and among learners and teachers through the sports.
b. Promote camaraderie and sportsmanship
c. Develop individual’s potential in different sports
d. Celebrate 28th Founding Anniversary of Cawag High School
(Resettlement School)

VII. TARGET PARTICIPANTS:

The target participants of this activity are 120 Male learners, 93 Female
learners, 1 School Head, 1 ADAS, and 9 female teachers and 3 male teachers.

IX. SOURCE OF FUNDS:

No registration fee shall be collected. Food, materials and other expenses

incident to the participants’ attendance to this activity shall be
reimbursed/charged against the school’s MOOE subject to the usual accounting
and auditing rules and regulations, or donations from stakeholders.
