Q1 GROUNG FLOOR PLAN OF THE BUILDING


Q2 WORK ORGANIZATION FOR A PERIOD OF ONE MONTH

The work shall be executed following the four general steps;

1) BUILDING PERMITS: Before the commencement of the project, it is necessary to secure all the need
building permits. This process goes on through-out the project as different disciplines have different
licenses. It can be time consuming as several overlapping authorities have to approve a project.

2) PRE-CONSTRUCTION PHASE:This broad category ensures all the work in a construction project before
the actual physical construction. When the project planning is finalized, And the supplies and labor are
assembled. Pre-construction services are necessary for developing a formal approach in calculating
costs, scope, and schedules for project execution.

3) PROCUREMENT: This procurement stage is where the project team obtains the equipments, labor
and materials necessary. The complexity of this stage depends on the project size, expected
commencement date, and availability of resources. General contractor awards minor contracts to the
subcontractors at this stage.

4) CONSTRUCTION PHASE: The construction phase is when the shovel hits the ground, transforming the
empty field into a skyscraper. The planning pays off here. It is essential to have a pre-construction
meeting to ensure everyone is on the same page. The pre-construction meeting should address:

*Logistics and storage

*Primary contract details

*Health and safety

*Quality and control

*Possible design challenges

5) POST – CONSTRUCTION: This phase is more critical than most regard it to be. The actual construction
is complete, but the project has not yet been handed over to the owner. If proper attention is not given
to this phase, it can lead to many problems for the owner.

Objective: The pre-tendering phase entails the identification of needs, the planning and the
budgeting ,the project preparation including the definition of the requirements and the choice of
procedure type.

Purpose: The pre tender estimate allows a reconciliation of the of the cost plan with the tender
information from which any deviation to be identified.

Site location: The site is located at BOJONGO and the site shall be organized as per the diagram below
Site contractor: The subcontractor will be in charge of the following:

-Meeting with clients and general contractors to discuss upcoming projects

-Completing specific tasks to contribute to a larger construction project

-Estimating costs for materials and labor to share with clients.

-Working independently with little or no supervision.
