The purpose of this study is to gather accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for both
direct and indirect expense. This entails an in-depth review of the project's requirements,
resources, labor, and other related expenses. Furthermore, support the development and
management of contracts, assuring that the terms and conditions agreed upon are followed by
all parties. By means of these goals, this paper will greatly enhance the general performance

SPECIFICATIONS
The methods of construction and the types of materials to be utilized for the proposed two
story residential structure shown in the architectural and structural plans will be regulated by
this set of requirements.
1. General Requirements
The precise requirements serve as the general specification for project estimation. In
connection to the work's drawings, the detailed specification accurately and completely
explains the item of work.
2. Site Works
This section's work involves of demolishing and properly disposing of materials that were
indicated on the plans as needing to be removed in order to complete removal work, new
building, or relocation.
3. Structural Works
Concrete Works
All concrete and reinforced concrete work shall be done in accordance with the DPWH
Standard Specifications for Highways, Bridges and Airports revised 2012 Edition and the
current American Concrete Institute “BUILDING CODE REQUIREMENTS FOR THE
REINFORCED CONCRETE (ACI 318 – 76)”.
Steel Works
Metal work shall be fabricated carefully and accurately to ensure compliance with design and
performance requirements, using types and grades of metal as specified for the purpose. The
finished work must be free from distortion and cracks. Proprietary products shall be used to
the recommendations of the manufacturers.
4. Masonry Works
This Item shall consist of furnishing of all necessary materials, tools, equipment, and labor
necessary to complete the execution of the masonry works.

5. Formworks
Construct all formwork complete with centering coarse molds conform to shape, form line
grade, maintain rigid to prevent deformation under I load. Provide the necessary camber.
Remove forms according to the following schedule:
Footings - 2 days
Column - 4 days
Beams & Girders --allow one day per ft. with minimum of 7 days.
6. Miscellaneous
All licenses and permits necessary for the proper construction, including light connection and
other miscellaneous fees incidental to complete the construction of the building shall be done
by the owner. The building permit shall be at the expense of the owner.
