Job Title: Senior Engineer - Marine & Coastal Engineering

Purpose of the Role:

As a Senior Marine & Coastal Engineer at Worley, you play a pivotal role in a specialized discipline
within our global organization. Your expertise will be crucial in determining methods and solutions
for complex engineering challenges, ensuring the most efficient and economical approaches are
employed to meet objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise and Thought Leadership:

• Leverage specialized expertise in the discipline to solve complex engineering problems,


aligning with Worley's legacy as a prominent engineering partner in energy, chemicals, and
resources.

• Act as a thought leader at regional to global levels, contributing insights and expertise to
support Worley's promise of being a straight-talking partner for sustainable
transformation.

Business Development Support:

• Assist in business development activities by maintaining an up-to-date personal profile and


resume, showcasing Worley's commitment to transparency and credibility.

• Build positive working relationships with external parties such as customers, suppliers, and
contractors, contributing to Worley's collaborative approach in delivering projects and
creating long-term value.

Team Collaboration and Supervision:

• Communicate team resource loading and skill requirements, aligning with Worley's
commitment to fostering a collaborative and skilled workforce.

• Mentor and train team members, supporting Worley's emphasis on growth and
development within the organization.

Project Execution and Quality Assurance:

• Participate in project execution strategy and planning, ensuring alignment.

• Implement innovative solutions and technology advances to address challenges, driving


Worley's commitment to delivering sustainable change.

Documentation and Communication:

• Gather data and prepare engineering studies, aligning with Worley's data-centric approach
to problem-solving and decision-making.

• Create final documentation incorporating relevant information, contributing to Worley's

Specifications and Bid Activities:

• Incorporate information into equipment/material specifications, data sheets, testing


requirements, and material requisitions, supporting Worley's standardization efforts.

• Participate in bid clarifications, aligning with Worley's commitment to delivering excellence


in project execution.

Constructability, Operability, and Maintainability:

• Participate in constructability, operability, and maintainability reviews, aligning with


Worley's commitment to delivering projects that are viable throughout their lifecycle.

• Work with site personnel to resolve issues, contributing to Worley's hands-on and
customer-centric approach to project delivery.
Qualifications / Skill Set:

Expertise and Recognition:

• Holds a 4 or 5-year technical degree in science or engineering, reflecting Worley's


commitment to excellence in education and technical proficiency.

• Maintains active licensing with local engineering governing bodies where required by law,
ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Professional Experience:

• Brings a wealth of experience, typically 10+ years, showcasing a strong background in


discipline work.

• Demonstrates advanced knowledge of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and


industry practices, aligning with Worley's commitment to delivering sustainable change.

Leadership and Project Management:

• Possesses leadership experience, having worked in project leadership roles, emphasizing


the ability to drive successful project outcomes.

• Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content, contributing to Worley's
goals to be a leader in sustainability solutions.

Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Commitment:

• Assumes hands-on management and implementation of all relevant company HSE


requirements, aligning with Worley's commitment to safety and sustainability.

• Drives safe and sustainable engineering outcomes throughout the asset lifecycle, applying
the Sustainability, Environment, and Leadership (SEAL) principles, showcasing a proactive
approach to improving HSE performance.

Results-Oriented and Accountability:
