Program Description
This Complete solar energy program is
designed to equip students with the
knowledge and skills needed to excel in
the solar energy industry. The curriculum
covers a wide range of topics, from the
basics of solar energy and photovoltaic
systems to advanced technologies and
grid integration. Students will gain
hands-on experience with solar tools, PV
components, and software like PVsyst,
while also exploring solar thermal
systems, energy storage, and
environmental impacts. The program

Program Details Standard of Passing:


Name of the Program: One-Year Diploma • To successfully pass the course,
in Solar Energy students must achieve a minimum of
Pattern: Semester System 50% in each module.
Mode: Full-Time • Students are required to complete all
Duration: 1 Year practical assignments, projects, and
Eligibility: High School Diploma or exams.
Equivalent • Attendance must meet the minimum
requirement of 75%.
Semester 1 Examinations:
Written Exams:
Students will be assessed through written exams covering the Knowladge of solar energy,
photovoltaic systems, and solar thermal systems.
Practical Assignments:
Students must complete practical assignments that involve designing, simulating, and evaluating
solar energy systems, including basic solar panel installations and energy calculations.
Practical Exams:
Practical exams will be conducted to assess students' ability to design, configure, and
troubleshoot solar energy systems using industry-standard software and tools.

Semester 2 Examinations:
Written Exams:
Written exams will assess students on advanced topics such as solar system integration,
grid-tied and off-grid systems, and solar energy storage solutions.
Practical Exams:
Students will undertake practical exams to demonstrate their proficiency in advanced solar
energy system design, including the use of software for system simulation and performance
analysis.
Practical Assignments:
Students will complete ongoing practical assignments that require them to design and implement
complex solar energy projects, focusing on real-world applications.
Capstone Project:
The final assessment will be a comprehensive project where students apply their theoretical and
practical knowledge to design and implement a complete solar energy system. This project will
include a final presentation, technical report, and system performance analysis.
