Scene 1: Eya Gets Hired as a Maid

Cross: "Don’t get used to it." (smirks, but his concern is evident)

(Eya overhears Cross defending her to his friends.)

Friend 1: "Why are you even keeping that maid around? She’s so plain."

Cross: "She’s not just a maid. She’s... different."

(Later, Eya confronts Cross.)

Eya: "Narinig ko yung sinabi mo kanina. Totoo ba yun?"

Cross: "Of course. And if you weren’t so busy being clumsy all the time, you’d realize how
special you are."
