IV. My Learnings (Answer the following questions comprehensively to describe

what you learned from the attended session. You may include data or literature
to explain your claims.)
1. What are the fundamental principles that you have learned from the
topics discussed? As members or presenters of the group, We, also have
new knowledge and sharing about our experiences in an online education
environment. Some of us haven’t experienced having smart educational
material for learning but some have exposure to or experience having smart
technology material in their classrooms.

In our discussion, we have highlighted the huge potential of

integrating technology into 21stcentury education system because
many of the research studies have identified that
” Implementing ICT in educational settings has resulted in enhancing the
quality of training and education by augmenting learners’ engagement and
motivation in acquiring basic skills. Educators are upskilling their
competencies to integrate technology into education to teach students
effectively and efficiently.”
It also highlights the effects of integrating technology in the education
system providing numerous pieces of evidence that will help students to
learn in different learning styles and enhance their learning abilities.
Additionally, There are tools and different learning types have been
discussed to help the student meet their needs in different learning pace.

2. How do these courses/topics help your academic journey as a

professional or future school head?

Integrating technology in education helps us to discover other

learning materials, and teaching strategies and improve teacher and
student collaboration using creative and interactive technology
games wherein it is not just focusing on interactive activities but also
learning in different ways. Moreover, having access to technology in
the whole institution helps the university staff and learners have a
better experience in learning and flexible and easier to use the
provided technology devices for learning purposes.

There are technology tools that will help us, future teachers, to
monitor their academic performance and collaboration with peers.
We can integrate technology learning activities such as a digital
library wherein we can monitor their reading performance and
assessments. In case of unpredictable situations that can hinder
students' learning, a virtual classroom is a way to help us teachers
reach the students and attend classes through an online class.
Another learning types is flexible learning, wherein we let our
students learn at their own pace, exploring more contexts with the
help of technology.

3. What action will I take to apply what I have learned?

As a student, if I am given a task to have a teaching mock demo, I
will integrate technology into my teaching strategy. Integrate
technology into my motivation wherein I incorporate online learning
games such as Kahoot!, Quizlet, and more to enhance teacher and
student collaboration in just one click of the devices. Because
technology has many advanced features that enhance our learning
styles and collaborations. Moreover, if I am not sufficient for our
teacher discussion, I will do a self-paced learning, and do a lot more
research to gain my knowledge not only relying upon our teacher's
lesson discussion, searching topics on YouTube, google, books, and
documentary videos.

4. Cite instances where the topics had been applied in your current
station.
During the pandemic, we can't visit our school library to gather
information for our thesis. Instead of going out to conduct research, I
assigned specific tasks to each of my groupmates to find valid
information online, ensuring they included the authors' names and
publication dates to maintain the credibility of our work. Additionally, I
sometimes struggle to keep up with my teacher’s discussions during
synchronous sessions. After her lectures, I conduct further research
online, looking at resources like YouTube, articles, documentaries, and
other valid materials to enhance my understanding of the lesson topics.
As a current college student, if our professor is unavailable during class,
we suggest conducting a synchronous session with classmates to
continue our reporting. We also record these sessions for our professor’s
review later and also our classmates who can't attend during the
reporting session can review our recorded video for reviews. With the
use of technology, It has so many advantages of adopting technology to
education nowadays, various technology features to gain more
collaboration, knowledge and learning styles to help us learners and
educators to enhance more teaching and learning styles that are
important to achieve it here in 21st century technology skills.
