3. Maintenance

3.1. Daily attentions and maintenance

In order to ensure the instrumentation can be used reliably,
the result is accurate, it need to operate daily as follows:
The cleaning liquid is the distilled water, maintenance fluid
is 5% Sodium hypochlorite solution, Maintenance step:
Week maintenance:
A. In the main menu click “Other Service”.
B. Click “Wash”.
C. Put the aspirate tube into the maintenance fluid.
D. Press sample key, the maintenance fluid will be
aspirated into the tube system of the instrument, waits
for about 1 minute.
E. Repetition “B” then press sample key to aspirate
distilled water two times.
F. Repetition above step three times.
G. Each week maintains one time.

Daily maintenance:
Every day, we must “Wash”, put the aspirate tube into the
distilled water press sample key, aspirate distilled water
into the clean pipeline, repetition some times,until the
pipeline cleans very well , removes the air bubble.

3.2. Maintenance

3.2.1. temperature adjust

If the test result is lower always, the temperature is not
correct maybe, you will adjust the temperature or change
the temperature control unit (peltier unit). The method as
follows:
① adjust temperature
In “System Setting” interface, we click “Temperature
Setting”, as shown in Figure 3-1, , “Current TEMP” displays
collect data from LM35 temperature sensor. In “Set TEMP”,
we can input number, normally we input 37.

Firstly set temperature 37 ℃ , measure the flow-cell

temperature by the numerical thermometer，if the current

temperature is more than 37℃,adjust potentiometer VR1

to change it lower, otherwise to change it higher, repeat the

above step several times, the current temperature is
correct.

② change peltier unit:

This is temperature controller—peltier, its model is

TEC1-127032525(www.kjlp.net). The method of
assembling as follows:

3.2.2. the result not steady

If the test result is not steady, the reasons as follows:
1. the reagent is not available:
You can change the effective reagent.
2. the sample volume not enough.
You can check the pump volume calibration factor is right or
not.
You may change the pump volume calibration factor. If the
quantity of liquid volume is too little, increase the
“calibration factor”, otherwise decrease it. Display as
follows:
in main menu, you click “System Set” → click “Pump
Volume adjusting”, as shown in Figure 3-2, in pump volume
calibration display, you can input number “0.5–1.5”. finish
input, you must click “Save”, then click “Aspirate”, You can
press sample key aspirate the distilled water, though
aspirating the quantity of liquid volume can find the
appropriate amount, for example 1.2. finally, you can
return.

The chemistry analyzer recommend the quantity of the

liquid aspiration might be more than 500ul.

3. Not test blank and standard.
Before test, you must calibrate the chemistry analyzer
according to the operation manual. Testing reagent blank
before test sample every day, for endpoint test, you could
test standard if the result is not very good.
4. The wavelength absorbance is not correct
Adjust it as follows:
 Adjust the zero point absorbance of all wavelength
In the main menu ,click “Other Service” → click “Dark
Current” , we access “Potential Setting” interface, as shown
in Figure 3-3, then the lamp will power off, we can see the

AD value, if the AD value is 9-30, it is OK. Otherwise we

must adjust the potentiometer RP1 in AD receive board.
Repetition click “Dark Current”, until the AD value is suite.
Final we click save and return.

 Adjust absorbance of each wavelength
In main menu interface, you click “System Set”→ click
“Debug Mode” , In Debug mode interface, you must input
password 666688, then we can access “Potential Setting” ,
as shown in Figure 3-4, in all wavelength input box, you can
input number “0 - 6”, for example ,in 340nm input box, in
order to receive suit AD value 1800-2099, we can input from
0 to 6, other wavelength is like this.
If we input from 0 to 6, we can’t obtain suit AD value
1800-2099, we can take 5mm cross screwdriver to screw
the screws of fixed lamp.

If the lamp is from power off to power on, for the AD value
stabilizing we must wait 10 minutes.

3.2.3. Machine can’t Power on

Firstly, you can check whether the power output +12V is
OK or not, and then check the connection is well.
Second, you can use multimeter to measure these voltage
+12V, -12V, +5V, +3.3V, +1.8V to GND. If voltage is
abnormal, other IC is broken, you can contact our company
for maintenance.

3.2.4. System replacement

When the reasons of the outside or other reasons are
flushed, may use this function to restore the system for the
factory default establishment. In the “System Setting”

interface, you click “Default Restore” ,then input the

password “666688” and click “Confirm”, the restore begin.
Before finishing the restore, we can’t power off, otherwise
the machine is not working well.

4.1. Daily operation

4.1.1. Starting

① Please insert the power line into the grounding power

source plug, Turns on the power switch which is behind the
instrument.
② Waiting for 10 minutes after starting, the instrument is
preheated.
③After the preheat complete, the instrument will be able to
enter the main menu automatically.

4.1.2. Operation
According to the prompt of the instrument you can test the
sample.

4.1.3. Clean pipeline

The operation finished, you can close down after using the
distilled water to clean pipeline.

4.2. Routine maintenance

4.2.1. Touch screen

This instrument touch screen is important, because you
operate the instrument, you must touch the touch screen,
so you must take care of it.

4.2.2. Instrument outward appearance clean

When clean tool housing, please use wet cloth, and
available liquid detergent, but cannot use the ethyl alcohol
and so on the organic solvent.
