RAPID QUIZ & PRONUNCIATION RULES OF PLAY

1. Each team competes to get one of their members answer the questions
(representative) said by the jury/host.

2. Before answering the question, each team’s representative must press the buzz
button first. The fastest one is who gets to answer first.

3. The terms of point-taking of the match are as follows:


a. If one team’s representative presses the button first and can answer the
question correctly, the team gains 5 full points.

b. If one team fails to answer the question correctly after pressing the
button the first, the turn is moved to another team. If this other team
succeeds in answering the question, the team gains 4 points

c. If the other team also fails to answer it correctly, the turn is moved back
to the first team and it becomes the second attempt. If the first team
gets it correct this time, they gain 3 points.

d. If in this second attempt, the first team fails again to answer it correctly,
the turn is moved again to the second team and this denotes the last
chance answering for both the teams. If the second team succeeds in
answering it correctly this time, they gain 2 points.

e. In this last chance, if the second team is unable again to answer it


correctly, none of the team obtains any score and the question is
replaced to the new one.

4. All the points given to each team are well-determined by all the juries.

5. Sportsmanship ought to be willingly shown by both the teams each other. One
team may acquire a warning or some point cuttings at worst if one shows any
signs of disrespect, either to another team or even to the jury.
TOP SURVEYED WORDS RULES OF PLAY

1. Each team competes to get one of their members(representative) guess the 5


or 6 correct top surveyed words, based on the questions given by the jury/host.

2. To be able to answer the concealed surveys, each team’s representative must


press the buzz button first. The one who manages to press it the fastest, that’s
the team’s representative who gets to answer the question the first.

3. Each team has only 3 wrong attempts to answer the question.

4. After answering the question, either correctly or wrong, the first team
representative gets to choose either he/she takes the turn for the rest of his/her
team, or passes it to the second team. If the representative chooses to take the
turn, the rest of the team must answer the surveyed words directly, without
discussing each other. If the representative chooses to pass it, then they are
allowed to discuss each other while another team is attempting to answer the
surveyed words.

5. If the second team manages to answer at least one of the unanswered surveys
by the first team, the scores gained by the first team at the very round are stolen
by the second team.

6. Discussions are only allowed for the team which hasn’t got the turn to answer
yet, not for the playing team. If there’s any discussions captured on the playing
team, their scores at the very round will be taken to the opposing team.

6. The terms of point-taking of the match will be explained by the jury/host in


details before the game starts. All the points given to each team are well-
determined by all the juries.

7. Sportsmanship ought to be willingly shown by both the teams each other. One
team may acquire a warning or some point cuttings at worst if one shows any
signs of disrespect, either to another team or even to the jury.
