Delete stock identification
THIS CHECKBOX IS USED IF YOU WANT TO DELETE STOCK IDENTIFICATION AFTER A
PRODUCT IS PUT AWAY INTO THE STORAGE TYPE. STOCK IDENTIFICATION IDENTIFIES
A STOCK OR PRODUCT WITH ALL ITS UNIQUE ATTRIBUTES, SUCH AS QUANTITY,
BATCH, OR STOCK TYPE. THIS INDICATOR MUST BE SET FOR ALL FINAL PUTAWAY
STORAGE TYPES. IF THIS INDICATOR ISN’T SET FOR FINAL PUTAWAY STORAGE TYPES,
THEN YOU’LL GET AN ERROR WHILE SAVING THE STORAGE TYPE SETTINGS

Delete Stock Identification


Controls whether the stock identification of stock in this storage type is to be deleted.

USE
If you have set the Stor.Ctrl/Put.Compl. indicator, that is, you are working with final
storage types, you also have to select this checkbox for these final storage types.
You can also select this checkbox for other storage types. This makes the system
delete the stock identification before putaway from the respective stock has been
completed.
