• LOFT PHASE
During the briefing, the trainees receive a flight folder for the preparation of the LOFT session. The flight
preparation is conducted during the briefing.
Note: The trainees do not receive details on the four LOFT scenarios in advance.
05 – COURSE CUSTOMIZATION
• SOPs
The course is based on Airbus SOPs, but can be adapted to the Operator’s SOPs. If this option is selected, the
Operator must provide Airbus with these SOPs.
The course is based on A320, but can be adapted to other Airbus aircraft families, provided all FFS session
data are customized by the Operator.

Regarding the airports to be used, the trainees should be familiar with them and a customization is highly
recommended. A list of airport prerequisites is given here below to ease this customization.
The selected airports should be suitable for:
The customization of these airports shall include the provision of the corresponding flight folders (e.g. technical
logbook extracts, deicing/anti icing form, MEL extracts, load-sheet, computerized flight plan, charts, weather
file, NOTAMS, RTOWs…)
Some events may be customized, in order to perform specific required trainings such as RNP approaches.
