Q.1 50g bullet is fired into 10kg block that is suspended by a long chord so that it can swing like a
pendulum. If the block is displaced so that its center of gravity rises by 10cm, what was the speed iof the
bullet?

Q.2 A 70gm ball collides with another ball of 140g. the initial velocity of the first ball is 9m/s to right
while the second ball is at rest. If the collision would be the perfectly elastic, what would be the
velocities of the two balls after collision?

Q.3 A truck weighing 2500kg and moving with velocity of 21m/s collides with a stationary car
weighing 1000kg.The truck and car move together after the impact. Calculate their common velocity?
