Sub: Introduction of new circle specific Bharat Fibre Broadband plan Fiber_BB_Shiksha_899 for the
provisioning of FTTH connections in high school and higher secondary schools under Samagra
Shiksha Scheme in Chennai TD and Tamilnadu telecom circle.

1. CGMT, Tamilnadu telecom circle may kindly refer to the circle’s proposal submitted vide e-file
No. MKTG / S&M (CFA) / ECT/ 2022-24 dated 28-11-2023 regarding Tamilnadu telecom circle specific
Samagra Shiksha FTTH plan.
2. In this regard, on the recommendation of tariff committee, following has been decided by the competent
authority:
2.1 Introduction of new circle specific Bharat Fibre Broadband plan ‘Fiber_BB_Shiksha_899’ for
provisioning of FTTH connections in high school and higher secondary schools under Samagra Shiksha
Scheme in Chennai TD and Tamilnadu telecom circle. Details of the plan is as below:

2.2 All other terms and conditions w.r.t. revenue share on plan charge and WiFi ONT to BSNL’s partner will
remain same as per the existing policy/instructions.
3. Above charges are excluding GST.

4. Circles will ensure to comply with all regulatory mechanism including on-line reporting to TRAI and also
update the circle website. Further, circles will ensure to comply the TRAI guideline w.r.t. number of plans.

5. Above instruction will have immediate effect in Chennai TD and Tamilnadu telecom circle.

6. This circular is issued based on the approval of Competent Authority in CFA cell e-file No. BSNLCO-
CFAO/11(13)/1/2020-CFA-Part(1). For any query/clarification in this regard, matter may be taken up with
CFA Section, BSNL Corporate Office, Janpath, New Delhi-110001 (Phone No. 011-23710497 and Fax No.
011-23734052).
