● To open the gallery, click on the


Gallery icon (located in the right side
of the Standard toolbar)
● Navigate through the Gallery to
find the desired picture.
● To insert the picture, click and
drag it from the Gallery into the
Writer document

Steps for creating drawing


objects:
● To begin using the
drawing tools display the
Drawing toolbar, by
clicking
View>Toolbars>Drawing.
● Select the tool from
the Drawing toolbar. The
mouse pointer changes
to a drawing function
pointer.
● Move the cross-hair
pointer to the place in
document where you
want the graphic to
appear and then click-
and-drag to create the
drawing object. Release
the mouse button.
● You can now change
the properties of the
drawing object using
either the Drawing Object
Properties toolbar or the
choice and dialog boxes
reached by right-clicking
on the drawing object.

● Create the desired data
● Sort and mark the headings and
subheadings
● Select insert>indexes and
tables>indexes and tables>ok

with wizard

template:
1. From the main menu,
choose File → Wizards >
type of template
required.
2. In the last section of
the wizard, specify the
name and location for
saving the template. The
default location is your
user templates directory.
3. Finally,you have the
option of creating a new
document from your
template immediately, or
manually changing
template.

containing the values that you
want to subtotal.
Step 4: Select the function that
you want to calculate the
subtotal.
Step 5: Click OK.

Seek:

Steps for performing


Goal seek:
1. Place the cursor in the
formula cell (B4), and choose
Tools > Goal Seek.
2.On the Goal Seek dialog,
the correct cell is already
entered in the Formula cell
field.
3. Place the cursor in the
Variable cell field. In the
sheet, click in the cell that
contains the value to be
changed.
4. Enter the desired result of
the formula in the Target
value field.
5.Click OK. A dialog appears
informing you that the Goal
Seek was successful. Click
Yes to enter the result in the
cell with the variable value.
