ESCALATOR
It is a set of electric-powered stairs on which people can stand

and be transported from one level of a structure to another,

commonly found in stores, railroad stations, and airports.

Escalators that face in the same direction are known as parallel

escalators. These escalators take up more floor space than typical

escalator designs. However, when compared to other escalators, these are

shown to be less efficient and more costly. Escalators that run in parallel

are typically found in places like: Malls, Metro Station, Public Buildings

SPIRAL PARALLEL ESCALATOR

For extended distances, this sort of

escalator is ideal. It requires the user to

walk correctly and across extended

distances. Users will be able to get there

without difficulty. This style of escalator will

always be ideal in places like shopping

malls, train stations, and metro stations. This

escalator can be used in both private

property and commercial places.

WHEELCHAIR-ACCESSIBLE ESCALATOR

This is a sort of escalator that allows you to

use a wheelchair. This type of escalator has a

dedicated attendant. When a wheelchair user

enters the escalator, the escalator enters a

special mode in which three steps level out

and a platform is constructed. This form of

escalator is ideal for physically challenged

people since it allows them to easily move

from one floor to another.

This is the most recent type of escalator,

often known as moving walkways. There are

no stairs on this sort of escalator. It will

move smoothly if you simply hold the grip

and stand. This moving walkway has been

implemented in a number of retail stores,

shopping malls, restaurants, airports, and

hotels. It has numerous advantages. You

may simply transport your luggage up and

down using moving walkways. There is no

need for us to walk or take the elevator.

We'll be able to get there quickly if we use

this moving walkway.

Tracks - Inside the truss, an appropriate track system is constructed that both

guides the step chain and pulls the steps up from the lowest platform and back

to the top in a continuous loop. There are two tracks installed: one for the front

wheels of the stairs, known as step-wheel track, and another for the back

wheels of the steps, known as trailer-wheel track.

Top and Bottom Landing Platforms - The platforms, which are curved sections

of the tracks, as well as the gears and motors that move the stairs, are all

located here. The motor assembly and main driving gear are located on the top

platform, while the return step sprockets are located on the bottom platform.

This plate has a well-finished floor and is hinged or removable to provide simple

access to the machinery mounted below it.

Railing - It is in place to provide a comfortable handhold for escalator riders. It's

divided into four parts. One is a slider, also known as a glider ply, which is

produced by a layer of cotton or synthetic cloth and is located in the middle of

the railing. Any slider layer's primary goal is to make it easy for the railing to

travel along the track.

Steps - The steps are solid, primarily one-piece aluminum castings. Rubber mats
may be applied to the stair's surface to lessen the risk of slipping, as well as

some yellow demarcation lines to clearly highlight the staircase's sharp edges to

prevent accidents. The stairwell's steps are linked together to form a continuous

chain, forming a consistent closed loop with each step and allowing it to bend

at the appropriate time in relation to the next staircase.

Truss - This is a metal framework that connects the lower and top landings. It

transports the straight track segments.

Balustrade - The framework that supports the escalator's railing. Metal, panels,

or glass can be used to create a balustrade.
