GUIDELINES FOR THE PROJECT

Identify a company. Company should be Listed in BSE/ NSE. (Ensure that there is no
duplication of study among batchmates.)
A. Industry analysis
1: Identify industry and provide a brief overview.
2: Secondly, summarize the nature of the industry.
3: Third step is to provide a forecast for industry.
4: Industry analysts needs to identify government regulations that affect the industry
5. Industry analysts have to explain unique position within the economy.
6: Industry analysts must list potential limitations and risks
7: Porter's Five Forces Analysis

Industry analysis consists of three major elements:


1.The underlying forces at work in the industry
2.The overall attractiveness of the industry
3. The critical factors that determine a company's success within the industry.

B. Company Analysis:
1. Introduction of the company and its business vertical (business segments)
2. SWOT Analysis
3. Management Analysis
4. Future Prospects
5. Key competitors

C. Financial Statement Analysis


1. Ratio analysis of the Company for last 5 years.
2. Ratio analysis of the company compared with a competitor’s ratios (For 2021-2022)
Types of ratios : Profitability, Solvency, Liquidity, Valuation, Turnover, Dupont ratio
decomposition
3. Comparative statement analysis for last 2 years
4. Common size statement analysis for last 5 years
5. Cash flow analysis (For 2021-2022)
6. Conclusion:

D. Conclusion/ Learnings/ Findings
