INTRODUCTION
TRIXIE:
Ladies and gentlemen, parents, teachers, distinguished guests, and most especially, the
incredible K to 12 completers, Welcome to the 9th Moving Up Ceremonies of Matucay
National High School for the School Year 2023-2024, with the theme “Kabataang Pilipino
Para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas.”. We are here today to celebrate the
remarkable achievements and resilience of our young learners who have been molded through
a resilient educational foundation. I am Trixie Kate Tibar and I am Jeremy Santonia, your
Masters of Ceremonies for this momentous event.
JEREMY:
Before anything else, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude to our Mayor,
Honorable Harry D. Florida for generously allowing us to use the municipal gymnasium for
this event. Thank you, Mayor.
It is truly a joyous occasion as we gather here to recognize the incredible growth and
accomplishments of our students. Today, we reflect on their journey, the challenges they have
overcome, and the valuable lessons they have learned throughout their time in junior high
school. Our theme “Kabataang Pilipino Para sa Matatag na Kinabukasan ng Bagong Pilipinas.”
perfectly encapsulates the essence of their educational experience.
TRIXIE:
Indeed, these young individuals have demonstrated perseverance, adaptability, and
determination in the face of adversity. They have weathered storms, both academically and
personally, and emerged stronger than ever. Today, we pay tribute to their hard work,
dedication, and unwavering spirit.
PROCESSIONAL
JEREMY:
Ladies and gentlemen, please rise and direct your attention to the entrance as we begin
the processional for our moving-up ceremonies. Please hold your applause until all participants
have entered the venue.
TRIXIE:
Let us all welcome the Completers together with their proud parents, to be followed by
our School Parent Teachers Association Officials, our Matucay National High School Alumni
Officers, the Matucay National High School faculty and staff, our Barangay Officials , our

Local Government Unit officials, our Deped officials, distinguished guests, our School
Principal, the Schools Division Superintendent or his duly Authorized Representative, and our
Guest Speaker in their processional.
TRIXIE:
To officially commence our Moving Up Ceremony, may I request everyone to please
remain standing as we honor our country with the singing of our national anthem followed by
the singing of the Allacapan Hymn with Ma. Hillary G. Maximo, with high honors conducting,
and after which, Hanna Lois T. Galano, with High Honors, will lead us in prayer.
OPENING REMARKS
JEREMY:
Now, to officially welcome us all and set the tone for our ceremonies, may we call on
Angel R. Canlas, with High Honors, for the welcome remarks. Let us give him a warm round
of applause.
Thank you, Mr. Canlas. As we gather here today, we are filled with pride and joy for the
completers who have diligently worked towards this completion. Let us welcome Maam
Excelsis G. Pastor, our school Principal to present and certify the candidates for completion,
to be followed by Sir Renato A. Hernandez, Jr., our Public Schools District Supervisor, the
duly Authorized Representative of our Schools Division Superintendent will accept and
confirm our completers.
INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGE [MAYOR HARRY]
TRIXIE:
Congratulations to every one of you!
At this juncture, may we call on the Father of our town, our beloved municipal mayor,
honorable Harry D. Florida to deliver his inspirational message.
This time, it is my pleasure to invite on the stage, Mrs. Joy P. Abella, Teacher III-
MAPEH, to introduce our esteemed guest speaker for today’s occasion.
WORDS OF GRATITUDE
JEREMY:
Congratulations to each of you for completing this stage of your academic journey!
Before we proceed, it is important to express our deepest gratitude to all who are, in one
way or another, giving a hand to make this milestone a reality. We owe a debt of gratitude to
our committed teachers, supportive parents, dedicated school staff, and the school community.
This day would not be possible without their guidance, love, and relentless efforts.
Ladies and gentlemen, please join me in extending a warm welcome to Precious Angel
A. Navarro, with High Honors as she delivers her words of gratitude on this special occasion.
RECESSIONAL
TRIXIE:
As we bring these memorable ceremonies to a close, we kindly ask everyone to rise for
the recessional.
Let us also take this moment to acknowledge the presence of our esteemed guests. We
are honored to have with us today, the DepEd officials, supportive LGU officials and our
compassionate barangay officials, respected school administrators, dedicated teachers, proud
parents, and special guests who have graced this occasion.
Additionally, we are also privileged to have an exceptional guest speaker in the person
of Dr. Kehlveen S. Cariño, Assistant Professor II of Cagayan State University-Aparri Campus,
whose accomplishments and expertise will surely inspire and motivate us, especially our
completers!

We sincerely thank you all for joining us in this celebration of achievement and wish
you a pleasant day filled with joy and pride. And once again, On behalf of Matucay National
High School, we would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our beloved Mayor, Hon. Harry
