Scoring:

Each (a) = 1 point,

Each (b) is 2 points, and
Each (c) is 3 points.

Add up your score: __________

21

If you scored between 12-19 points:

You manage your time well already, but remember to leave space for self development and
time to switch off - it's possible you have become overly efficient or inflexible! You may need
to think about work/life balance and to avoid trying to be too controlling. It may be wise to
delegate more so others can also develop their skills and you can be relieved of some tasks:

If you scored between 20-28 points:

You have a reasonably balanced approach to your work/study life, but make sure that your
good intentions regarding time management come to fruition. Consider conducting a "time
audit" of your typical day and week and avoid doing too many all-nighters, as this will end
up making you less efficient. To make the best use of your day, manage the time you spend
in meetings and learn how to get control over emails and other information flowing in.

If you scored between 29-36 points:

You're at risk of becoming exhausted and doing a bad job because your time is being used
so inefficiently. You need to make major changes in the way you approach work and tasks.
Don't underestimate how long tasks will take to do - wishful thinking means nothing when
you are about to miss a deadline! Learn to manage information flow and sharpen your
priority-setting and decision-making skills.
