I. Title of Activity: VIRTUAL ORIENTATION PROGRAM 2021

Schedule / Venue: September 09, 2021 via Zoom Platform

II. Rationale

Starting college can cause much anxiety in the heart of a new college student because of all
the unknowns. Therefore, prior to the beginning of classes, students are given an overview of
the complete realm of university life and presenting as full a view as possible of all the university
has to offer. Orientation programs serve as a foundation for college success. In many instances,
orientation programs create a lasting impression for new students. While it is not possible to tell
new students everything they will need to know for their entire collegiate experience, orientation
programs should create a framework in which students will know where to go and what to
expect. Orientation is a much-needed program that can aid all participants–new students,
parents, faculty, staff, administration, and current students. Orientation is designed to answer
questions before they are asked and to provide solutions before problems occur.

It is designed to cater the needs for the educational adjustments among freshmen,
transferees, returnees and old students and to provide them information with the different
services of BISU Candijay Campus via online means especially in this time of pandemic that
despite the no face to face classes BISU Candijay Campus can still facilitate and accommodate
the educational needs and concerns of the students.

III. Objectives

 To introduce them with the campus environment;

 To notify the students with the institutional policies, rules and regulations;

 To provide understanding with the University’s Vision, Mission and Goals;

 To apprise the students with the faculty and staff of the campus, its significant role and the
