MR COOPER INTERVIEW EXPERIENCE

Interview Process : 5 rounds

Round 1:

MCQ and Coding (Arrays, Linked List and Trees)

Round 2:

Long Programming Round [ ER or Class Diagram or flowchart + Coding ]

Build a Music subscription application. And solves following requirements.

1. Create a catalogue of music with artist, album, year, and genre details for each song

2. Create playlist with their favorite songs

3. Sort and filter songs based on Artist, Album, Year and Genre

4. Add multiple devices with their account

5. Purchase individual albums if he/she doesn't have a valid subscription.

6. Purchase subscriptions as,

[a. Weekly, b. Monthly, c. Quarterly, d. Yearly]

7. Sync playlists and purchased songs between devices.

Round 3 - Technical HR – 1

1) Self Intro and Projects


2) What are the challenges faced in 2nd round, How you overcome that.
3) Oops questions with real life examples. [Mostly asked to cover all topics like class , object ,
inheritance (types , examples) , Polymorphism (types and examples) , Deadly Diamond
problem]
4) Linked list – questions like adding elements in different positions. Purpose of Linked list
with standpoint to arrays.
5) Stack and Queue working process – which tech stack we can use for given scenario (Why
and Why not)
6) Mostly scenario based questions on technical topics like Normalizations , Denormalization,
Joins
7) Coding : Sequential data structure – Eg : Merge 2 unsorted array.
8) Do Seating arrangements (open ended questions) How you do technical requirement analysis
is checked.
Round 4 - Technical HR – 2

[This is not for technical role , I asked for user requirement and management line based on my
qualifications and interview is conducted by 2 product managers]

Mostly scenario based questions how to do Empathy mapping , Design thinking, user feedback ,
requirement analysis , 6 Hat technique , 5Why technique , Agile and Water fall. Here, No wrong
or right answers only how we approach a problem is more important. Eg : What is the user
requirement of AIR cooler.

Round 5 - Personal HR

Self Introduction, Personal questions , What motivates you , Where do you see yourself in 5
years , Why you chooses this college and department.

Last Note :

Make sure how you clear on topics , what you know and what you don’t know to crack technical
HR. Be honest on personal HR and open minded.
