Expected answer:L Answer: Music Conductor

D. DISCUSS
Music Conductor direct a choir, ensemble, band, and orchestra through
arm movements that suits the chosen music or repertoire of the group.
These are called conducting gestures or conducting patterns.

Music conductors help people sing together. They do this by showing the
beat of a song through arm movements that follow certain patterns. The
patterns are based on the number of beats per measure as shown by the
upper number of the time signature.

In conducting a composition with complete measures, the first beat is

always the down beat.

(The teacher will show it through hand gestures.)

A conductor gives a preparatory beat before the start of a musical piece.

The teacher will present the Conductor’s Guides and demonstrate /show
the class the ways how to do it.
The teacher will show the counting patterns, the beat patterns and
demonstrate the conducting gestures of 2 and 3
