Rules for Technical Poster Presentation

1. Eligibility
o Each team must consist of 2 members.
2. Poster Content
o The poster must be related to a technical topic in science, engineering, or
technology.
o Content should be original, well-researched, and properly cited.
o Plagiarism is strictly prohibited.
3. Poster Format
o Poster size: A1 (23.4 x 33.1 inches) or A0 (33.1 x 46.8 inches) (as per event
guidelines).
o Must include: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Methodology, Results,
Conclusion, and References.
o Text must be readable from at least 3 feet away.
o Use high-quality images, graphs, and diagrams to enhance clarity.
4. Presentation Guidelines
o Each team will have 5-10 minutes to present.
o A Q&A session of 2-5 minutes will follow.
o Participants should dress professionally and maintain a formal tone.
5. Evaluation Criteria
o Content Quality (30%) – Technical depth, clarity, and relevance.
o Visual Appeal (20%) – Layout, readability, and design aesthetics.
o Presentation Skills (30%) – Clarity, confidence, and communication.
o Q&A Handling (20%) – Ability to answer judges’ questions effectively.
6. Submission & Deadlines
o Posters must be submitted in both Hardcopy and Softcopy (PDF or PNG
format) before 24.02.2025 @ 3pm
o Hardcopy posters must be printed in high resolution and brought to the
venue.
o Softcopy posters must be submitted via Google classroom.
o Late submissions will not be accepted.
7. Code of Conduct
o Any form of misconduct, including plagiarism or copying, will result in
disqualification.
o Participants must respect the jury's decision, which will be final and binding.
