Reset Button

Alarm / Fault Reset:


Warning:
ƒ Press the HMI RESET button – the alarm is
silenced & Genset continues to run.
ƒ Plan to investigate and repair the cause of the
alarm at the next scheduled stop.
Critical Shutdown:
ƒ Investigate and repair the cause of the critical
alarm/shutdown.
ƒ Press the HMI RESET button – The ECM’s will
automatically be power-cycled. A NWF
(Network Failure) will display for approx. 10
seconds.
Following a successful reset normal ECM
parameter values will be displayed and Alarm
listing will automatically disappear from the
Active Warning or Shutdown listings.
REMEMBER: Following a Critical Alarm RESET, the Genset
will go through a VENT cycle on the next start attempt! The Genset can now be re-started.

1. Navigate to all HMI320 menus and screens (password level


changes are required to gain access to all screens).
2. Induce & reset a fault.
3. Conduct manual & auto start procedures.
4. Examine the HMI320 Remote Hardware panel and Interface
wiring connections.
