“A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REVISED THREE (3) YEARS COMPREHENSIVE


BARANGAY YOUTH DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2024-2026 OF THE SANGGUNIANG KABATAAN OF
BARANGAY COGON, CITY OF EL SALVADOR, PROVINCE OF MISAMIS ORIENTAL”

WHEREAS, under the provisions of Republic Act No. 10742, also known as the Sangguniang Kabataan
Reform Act of 2015, it is mandated that every barangay shall formulate a Comprehensive Barangay Youth
Development Plan (CBYDP) for the youth sector;

WHEREAS, the Barangay Cogon recognizes the importance of creating a more responsive and effective youth
development program to address the various challenges and opportunities that the youth face in the community;

WHEREAS, after a series of consultations with the Sangguniang Kabataan, Katipunan ng Kabataan, and other
youth organizations in the barangay, a revised Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Plan for CY
2024-2026 has been drafted and reviewed to align with the priorities and goals of the national youth agenda, as
well as the Philippine Youth Development Plan (PYDP) and Local Youth Development Plan (LYDP);

WHEREAS, the revised CBYDP aims to address critical youth issues such as health, education, environment,
economic empowerment, social inclusion and equity,peace-building and security, governance,global mobility
and active citizenship while ensuring the full participation of youth in governance and community development;

NOW, THEREFORE, on motion of Hon. Regie B. Magpulong, duly seconded by all, be it resolved as it is
hereby resolved by the Sangguniang Barangay of Barangay Cogon, City of El Salvador, that:

1.The revised Comprehensive Barangay Youth Development Program for Calendar Year 2024-2026 is hereby
approved.

2.The Sangguniang Kabataan, in coordination with the Barangay Council, shall ensure the implementation of
the approved CBYDP and shall take appropriate measures to monitor and evaluate the progress of the program
periodically.

3.All concerned barangay officials and committees are directed to extend full support and cooperation to ensure
the successful implementation of the program.

4.The Barangay Youth Development Office shall be responsible for the coordination, management, and
reporting of the program’s implementation.

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be furnished to the Sangguniang Kabataan, the
Barangay Council, the Local Government Unit, and other concerned entities for their information and
appropriate action.

APPROVED, this 10th of January, 2024, at the Barangay Cogon, City of El Salvador, Province of Misamis
oriental.
