Make sure you have created a Virtual Machine with 2 network card. Both are
internal cards though we will rename them into LAN and WAN on the server itself.

The next thing we need to do is: Set name, set LAN ip, set wan ip : In that order

LAN:

WAN:
Can be any ip that is different from the LAN network side, for instance
Ip 10.0.0.1 /24
DNS 10.0.0.11
Gateway 10.0.0.254
(your windows 10 client IP would then be for instance 10.0.0.2)

Next join it to the domain, click on workgroup, choose change, fill in domain name ,
follow the standard steps to join a domain.
After reboot, we can install the NPS and RAS roles on the server, the same way as we
do with all roles and features
Note: Make sure you are logged in as domain admin!

- select Network Policy and Access services (accept features)


- Select Remote access (accept features if necessary)

- Keep following the wizard and select “direct access and vpn (RAS)”, accept the
features.
- Keep following the wizard (accept additional features) and click install.

Once the installation has been completed, the roles are ready to be configured
