 ABSTRACT

This project is a web base Photography system for an existing photoshop. The project objective
is to deliver the online portfolio and the services of the photographer which help the customer to
easily choose the shoots and best services.

This project is an attempt to provide the advantages of online photography to customers. It

helps buying the services in the photography studio anywhere through internet by using an
android device. Thus the customer will get the service of choosing the shoots.

 INTRODUCTION

This project is a web base photography portfolio website. The project objective is to give
customer best services of photography and shoots.

Online photography website is the process whereby customers directly interact with the
photographer and can choose their shoots within some time. It is a form of online photography
services. This project is an attempt to provide advantage of online mode of photography and help
to choose the services of studio. It helps the customer to see varieties of shoots and their prices
through internet by using android / windows device.

 PROBLEM STATEMENT

As PHOTGRAPHY became a trend nowadays the regular studios losing their customers due to
online websites. Customers have effortless booking their shoots experience and saving time
through online mode. For competing with those online modes, If shops are providing an online
portal where their customers can choose shoots through internet and get their best services at
their chosen location it will increases the number of customers.

OVERVIEW OF PROJECT:

Photography portfolio website is a computerized system for complete and effective management
of photo processing laboratories/labs. With this system, shoots and their information in photo

studios can be done efficiently to ensure the optimum utilization of available resources, thereby
strengthening the productivity levels. The newly developed site for Photography is more suited
than the manual database because it provides the facilities like, accuracy and high security.

OBJECTIVES:

• The purpose or objective of this system is to digitalize and create an automated system.
Every photography management task is done manually.

• This Online Store will help the enterprise attract more potential customers and thereby
increase sale. It also lifts up the company to the global standard

• The main aim of this project is to develop an online photography portfolio website which
helps the users to make a reservation for photo-shoot at their convenient time and also
order customized products by uploading their own photos.

• The project also helps the studio owner to track their orders and delegate job to
appropriate employees. Customers can themselves schedule the date and venue of the
function and pay online. This will be an interactive website application between the
studio and the customers

• The project also helps the customer by interacting with photographer face to face by
visiting his studio with help of google maps which is included in project and also able to
give his valuable feedback and satisfaction with the result of photography by just simply
feeling the feedback form.

PROJECT SCOPE:

This system can be implemented to any shop in the locality or to multinational branded shops
having retail outlet chains. The system recommends a facility to accept the orders 24*7 and a
booking of shoots which can make customers happy. If shops are providing an online portal
where their customers can enjoy easy booking from anywhere, the studios won’t be losing any
more customers to the trending online studio such as 500px, alamy, digital camera world. Since
the application is available in the Smartphone it is easily accessible and always available

 EXISTING SYSTEM

The photography portfolio website include paper works for almost all the works such as details
about customer billing, services, customer details, customer feedback, materials used for photo
development, etc. Every records should be entered with pen on a paper which is a very tedious,
difficult, and uneconomical task.

Some major drawbacks of the existing system:

▪ Required a lot of paperwork and the process takes time.

▪ Everything is done on paper and these are highly prone to damages and require a good
amount of security and space to store.
▪ Likely to have an error.
▪ Lack of storage space for handwritten documents.

 ▪ Require more physical work and manpower.

o Scope and Limitations of Existing System

In the proposed system customer need not go to the studio to order or book the shoots
because of online mode. He can order or he can book the shoot through the application in
his phone. The studio owner/photographer will be admin of the system. Shop owner can
appoint moderators who will help owner in managing the customers and product orders.

PROJECT PERSPECTIVE:

The proposed system can store huge amount of data of customer coming to the photo studio
along with the details of employees working and material used in the lab. Data are stored very
effectively as the procedure is category-wise.

Customers also able to choose photoshoots and services and able to see photographers sample
photos, gallery, services, ranges etc.an easily can contact to a photographer and also able to give
his feedback.

 • Requirement Analysis:
EFFICIENCY

REQUIREMENT :
When an online photography android application implemented customer can order or
book shoots.

RELIABILITY REQUIREMENT:

The system should provide a reliable environment to both customers and owner. All
orders should be reaching at the admin without any errors.

USABILITY REQUIREMENT:

The android application is designed for user friendly environment and ease of use.

SYSTEM DESIGN

Modules Of Software:

1. Home page: This allows admin to log in to the system and register the DEO details.
Customer also able to see photographer bio and information.
2. Gallery: Customer able to see outputs and best photos click by the photographer and
his team.

3. Services: services given by the photographer shown here which helps the customer
to easily select his comfortable shoot and location.
4. Contacts: customer easily contact or interact with photographer by help of contacts
or social media resources.
5. Feedback: After completion of work customer can give his feedback and his
satisfaction
6. Map: Map helps the customer to direct interact face to face with the photographer.
Maps direct give directions and address of studio.

 CONCLUTION

The project entitled PHOTOGRAPHY PORTFOLIO WEBSITE was completed successfully.

The system has been developed with much care and free of errors and at the same time it is
efficient and less time consuming. The purpose of this project was to develop a web application
and an android application for purchasing items from a shop.
This project helped us in gaining valuable information and practical knowledge on several topics
like designing web pages using html &CSS, usage of responsive templates, designing of android
applications, and management of database using my SQL. The entire system is secured. Also the
project helped us understanding about the development phases of a project and software
development life cycle. We learned how to test different features of a project
This project has given us great satisfaction in having designed an application which can be
implemented to any nearby shops or branded shops selling various kinds of products by simple
modifications.
There is a scope for further development in our project to a great extended. A number of features
can be added to this system in future like providing moderator more control over products so that
each moderator can maintain their own products. Another feature we wished to implement was
providing classes for customers so that different offers can be given to each class. System may
keep track of history of purchases of each customer and provide suggestions based on their
history. These features could have implemented unless the time did not limited us.

 • Future Scope:

• There will be lot of scope to improve this project, since currently basic functionality
would be provided.

• Some of the modules to improve are admin part such as personalized recommendations,
discount & offer management. For customers, notification & messaging etc can be
improved. These can be developed to make it more effective.
