On the first day at the farm, I woke up early to prepare my personal

protective equipment since it was our first day on the farm. When we
arrived, the first thing we did was introduce ourselves to the manager.
After that, we started cleaning the animal shelter and the surrounding
areas. In the afternoon, we began clearing the weeds to prepare the land
for planting vegetables. It was a productive day as we learned the
importance of keeping the farm clean and organized for the upcoming
tasks.

On the second day at the farm, we gathered weeds to feed

the goats, ensuring they had enough food for the day.
Afterward, we headed back to the farm to continue with the
plotting. It was interesting to see how each task on the farm
contributes to the overall process of growing crops and
taking care of the animals. Although the work was tiring, I felt
a sense of accomplishment as we were able to contribute to
the farm’s operations. The second day gave me a deeper
understanding of farm life and the effort required to maintain
it.

organized. In the afternoon, we prepared the soil to plant b (ampalaya),
an important step in getting the crops ready for growth. It was a fulfilling
day, as I saw how each task played a crucial role in the farm’s
productivity. The hard work and effort required for each task gave me a

experienced the joy of helping the animals and the importance of being responsible
for their cleanliness and well-being. I realized how crucial each task was, from
cleaning their enclosures to taking care of their health. After finishing the work at the
Animal Sanctuary, we moved on to cleaning the coconut trees. Although it was
difficult and time-consuming, the work felt lighter because of the teamwork we had.
Both tasks taught me discipline and patience, as well as an appreciation for nature.
Despite the exhaustion, I felt a sense of fulfillment in every step of helping both the

Work immersion serves as a crucial bridge between academic learning and the
real- world application of knowledge. It allows individuals, especially students, to
step into professional environments, gaining hands-on experience that enhances
their understanding of theoretical concepts. The echoes of such an experience
linger long after the immersion ends, as it often leads to personal growth, skill
development, and a deeper understanding of one's chosen field. Through this
immersive process, individuals not only learn the technical aspects of their work but
also the softer skills, such as communication, adaptability, and problem-solving,
which are vital in any professional setting. These lessons continue to resonate,
influencing decisions, career paths, and the approach to future challenges.
Ultimately, work immersion is more than just a learning experience—it's a
transformative journey that shapes the future of its participants

5th day of Work Immersion

On the fifth day of our work immersion, we began by gathering weeds to

feed the goats, ensuring they were properly nourished. After that, we
focused on plotting the soil, preparing it for planting. Once the soil was
ready, we immediately planted squash seeds, taking the next step in
growing crops. It was a fulfilling day as I saw the connection between the
hard work of preparing the land and the growth of the plants. This
experience deepened my appreciation for the farming process and the
dedication needed to nurture the land and its produce. It was rewarding to
see how our efforts would eventually contribute to the farm's success.
