<title>HOW DOES IT WORKS AND IT's APPLICATION</title>

<center><h1><FONT COLOR=#FF8040>HOW DOES IT WORKS</h1></center>
<center><p style = "font-family:arial; color:#FFFFFF;">If it is a conductor, the
resistance to the flow of current is less and vice versa for an insulator. A
Resistor works by using this natural property ofmresistivity/conductivity of any
material. It absorbs energy from the flow of electrons (electric energy) and
dissipates in the form of heat (thermal energy)</p></center>

<center><h1><FONT COLOR=#FF8040>DIFFERENT TYPES OF
RESISTOR</h1></center>
<center><p style = "font-family:arial; color:#FFFFFF;">Resistors are available in
different size, Shapes and materials. We will discuss all possible resistor types
one by one in detail with pro and cons and application as follow.

<center><h1><FONT COLOR=#FF8040>READING RESISTOR VALUE
CHART</h1></center>
</head>
<body>
<p style = "font-family:arial; color:#FFFFFF;">The first two bands always denote
the first two digits of the resistance value in ohms. On a three or four-band
resistor, the third
band represents the multiplier. This multiplier will basically shift your decimal
place around to change your value from mega ohms to milliohms and anywhere in
between.
