RESUME SUMMARY:

My primary objective as a Mechanical / Piping Supervisor is to contribute to the company’s

success by ensuring that all phases of maintenance and repair operations are done effectively and
with minimal hassles. In order to do this, I will see to it that health, safety, and quality standards
are met and the activities are cost-efficient.

With 19 years of experience as a Mechanical/ Piping Supervisor, I have honed my abilities in

performing indispensable duties such as regular assessment of equipment and systems,
performance appraisal, and prompt intervention to arising problems. This being said, I am
confident that I will be an asset to the company.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (PROJECTS):

 Very Well experience in piping activities including Brownfield and Greenfield area.
 Preparation of Method of statement for piping activities like shutdown/Turnaround, Erection,
Hydro test and Pre-Commissioning activities.
 Check and Markup the co-ordinate point for Tie-In–Point and Interface point for confirmation
of shutdown activities and future connection as per the Drawings.
 Ensure the lines for cutting by hot and cold cutting (Pneumatic or Hydraulic cutting)
 Well known knowledge in arrangement of lines for shutdown activities to do the valve isolation
and purging activities (Steam/Nitrogen).

 Check the drain system in the pipeline for flushing the crude or other By-products by using
Heavy Machineries or Safety pit.

 Prepare the MTO and BOQ Quantity for Project Scope (Pipes, Fittings, Valves Etc)
 Well known knowledge Applicable in ASME, API Codes for Process Piping
 Well Known Knowledge in Material handling for CS, SS, DSS & Alloy lines
 Ensure the existing pipelines for depressurize and purging activities Inter connects and Tie-in
for shut down activities.
 Review the JSA and RA for the construction activities includes Erection, Hydro-test, Pre-
commissioning and NDT activities.
 Resolve the clashing issues with existing lines and co-ordination for tapping connection with
other related departments.
 Well Known knowledge of Material Specification as per ASME Standards
 Check the Equipment Layout & GA drawings for piping analysis to route the pipelines in
existing and new facility.
 Provide technical answers to Engineering Queries raised up by the sub-contractor confirming
design drawings and standard requirements
 Well known Knowledge in the Permit System for all types of activities.
 Identify the hazards of work in Mechanical activities including Rigging and Piping
 Involved in safety meeting/ Walk down with clients for safety observation in the site.
 Raise the ERFI for Clients due to Site concern during the Installation or before the starting of
activities
 Arrange the Materials and consumables for the Site Requirements includes lifting, welding, Bolt
Tightening activities.
 Arrange the materials for Fabrication and Erection of Piping and Supports.
 Monitoring the Heat number of the pipes and fittings, Line number, tagging for Pipe Fabrication
and Installation for the requirements of QC Activities.
 Preparation of Scope and volume of dia. inches for the shop and field welding Activities.
 Monitor the DPR/WPR for Daily welding production.
 Well known knowledge in Fabrication and welding of Pipe materials in CS, SS, DSS, Pipes.
 Preparation of Spools as per isometrics for erection at site.

 Fabrication and Installation of Structural supports for the project and calculation of materials
for Dummy Supports, Shoe support, RF and Wear-pads etc.
 Modification or rerouting on Piping as per client’s instructions at site.

 Prepare and Review the line list as per Design, Hydro test Pressure and Operating Pressure.

 Conduct the Hydro/Pneumatic Test as per the Requirements in Shop and Field.

 Mark-up and Change the test limits for packages for identification of Hydro-test and other
activities.
 Well known knowledge in U/G piping activities includes RTRP, Fire water and Drain lines.
 Conduct Pre-Commissioning (flushing & blowing) & Torque testing for reinstatement activities.

 Well Known knowledge in Installation of static equipments like Scrubber, separator, Heat
Exchangers, Air packages and Chemical injection packages.
 Installation of Fire fighting equipments as per company standards.

 Review the Rigging plan for critical activities like heavy lifting and critical lifting.
 Hand over the Equipments to clients after installation with Survey reports includes Elevation
and orientation of nozzle connections with Grouting.
 Prioritize the Packages for Handover and Startup/Commissioning the plant as per Client
requirements and Operations.

 Conduct Line walk with clients for Hydro- test, Pre-Commissioning and other punch items.
 Ensured out punch list are resolved and handover to the client and Operations.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE (OPERATONS & MAINTENANCE):

 Demolition of Existing pumps and installation of New pumps for booster station and Pump
house in Gathering station facilities.
 Checking and alignment of pumps as per standard requirement of Operations.
 Well Known knowledge in alignment of pumps by using Dial indicator method in gathering
Station.
 Replacing Existing Pipelines for Newlines in case of any leakage or any other operations
requirements.
 Replacement of Existing or damaged valves in pipelines of Pump station, Transportation line,
Valve manifold and Gathering station.
 Replacement of Mechanical items like Spade, Spacer, Level transmitter, Level gauges, Pressure
Gauge and Temperature Gauges Etc.
 Well known knowledge in handling of MOV & ROV operations as per operator or Maintenance
Engineer Instructions for operation requirement.
 Well known Knowledge Emergency Shutdown Valve & PCV to shut the line operations for
Process Requirements and in Energizing of New Systems or revamping system for operations
requirements.
 Well known knowledge in Maintenance of Spare lines or Bypass system in the Process lines.
