Job Title: Lead - Quality Management Systems (QMS) Engineer

Location: Ennore, Tamil Nadu, India

Job Summary: The Lead Quality Management Systems (QMS) Engineer will
be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality
Management System to ensure compliance with industry standards and
regulatory requirements. With extensive experience in quality assurance and
process improvement, the incumbent will lead initiatives to enhance product
quality, drive continuous improvement, and maintain certifications such as
ISO 9001. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a
deep understanding of quality management in the manufacturing sector,
particularly within the electric vehicle (EV) industry.

Key Responsibilities:

 QMS Development and Maintenance: Design, implement, and


manage the Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 9001
standards and other relevant certifications. Ensure that all processes
are documented, controlled, and regularly reviewed for effectiveness.

 Compliance Assurance: Ensure that all manufacturing processes


comply with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and
quality certifications.

 Process Optimization: Analyze current manufacturing processes to


identify inefficiencies and implement lean methodologies to enhance
productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.

 Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to


establish quality requirements and conduct assessments to ensure
compliance.

 Training and Development: Develop and deliver training programs


to educate staff on QMS principles, quality standards, and continuous
improvement strategies.

 Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators


(KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of manufacturing processes and
drive data-driven decision-making.

 Audit Management: Lead internal and external audits to ensure


compliance with QMS standards. Address non-conformities and
implement corrective actions promptly.
Qualifications:

 Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Quality


Management, or a related field.

 Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in quality


management within the manufacturing industry, with at least 6 years
in a leadership role focusing on quality assurance and process
improvement. Experience in the electric vehicle industry is highly
desirable.
