understanding.
- Discussed various strategies and techniques to solve timer and counter problems more
efficiently.
From June 18th to June 22nd, 2024, On June 18th, I delved into the concept of Retentive Timer On
(RTO) timers, understanding their functionality in retaining accumulated time even after the rung
becomes false. This was complemented by solving several problems related to RTO timers, which
helped solidify my grasp on their practical applications. Additionally, I explored different types of
counters, specifically UP counters and DOWN counters, learning their mechanisms and
applications in various control systems.
The next day, June 19th, was dedicated to practicing problems involving UP and DOWN
counters to strengthen my understanding and application of these concepts. I also received an
introduction to compare and compute mathematics, focusing on the concepts of limits and
equality, which are crucial for controlling operations and making decisions in programming.
On June 20th, I learned how to implement a toggle mechanism using a single switch or push
button to turn devices ON and OFF, understanding the logic behind toggling states and their
practical uses. Moreover, I studied fundamental arithmetic operations such as addition,
subtraction, multiplication, and division within compute mathematics, practicing their
implementation to perform various calculations and control tasks.
June 21st was focused on exploring essential program control instructions, including Master
Control Relay (MCR), Jump (JMP), Label (LBR), and Temporary End (TND). I solved
practical problems to apply these program control instructions, enhancing my ability to manage
and control program flow efficiently. This day provided valuable insights into how these
instructions influence and control the execution sequence in programs, making the control logic
more flexible and manageable.
Finally, on June 22nd, Institute conducted a comprehensive practice test on Timer and Counter
topics to evaluate my understanding and proficiency. The test results were reviewed and
analyzed to identify strengths and areas for improvement. Additionally, I discussed various
strategies and techniques to approach and solve timer and counter problems more efficiently,
aiming to enhance my problem-solving skills and application of knowledge in practical
situations.

Week : From
4 24/06/2024 To 29/06/2024
rom 24th June to 29th June 2024, I engaged in a comprehensive study and practical application
of SCADA software. Initially, I learned about the basics of SCADA, its architecture, and its
various functions such as data acquisition, communication, data presentation, and control. This
foundational knowledge was crucial for understanding how SCADA systems are utilized across
different industries for real-time monitoring and control.
Throughout the week, I tackled various tasks and problems, including solving timer-related
issues, designing circuits, and developing programming solutions. Each day involved hands-on
practice where I designed, implemented, and verified solutions using SCADA software on the
PC. I also completed specific tasks assigned by the teacher, which further enhanced my
proficiency. By the end of the week, I had a solid understanding of SCADA functions and
practical experience in creating and validating automated control systems.

- Took problems from the teacher and solved them.<br>- Revised the basics of PLC, including its
1 internal structure and working.
- Revised the concepts of Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) contacts.
- Practiced using NO/NC contacts on the PC.
2 - Practiced interlocking and holding functions.
From 1st to 6th July 2024, I engaged in various activities to deepen my understanding and
practical skills in PLC and SCADA systems. On the first day, I solved problems assigned by the
teacher and revised the fundamentals of PLCs, focusing on their internal structure and operation.
The second day involved revising the concepts of Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed
(NC) contacts and practicing their applications on the PC, along with interlocking and holding
functions.
On the third day, I focused on solving problems related to timers and thoroughly revising the
entire timer concept. The fourth day was dedicated to revising counter concepts and practicing
related problems on the PC, ensuring accurate output verification. On the fifth day, I practiced
program control functions, developed programming solutions using these functions on the PC,
and checked the outputs for correctness. Finally, on the sixth day, I solved additional problems
provided by the teacher, reinforcing my learning and practical skills.
