It is our pleasure to intimate your good self that our total trainee capacity is more than
5000 under the various government programmes under third party. Some of them DPE-
CSR, SSEPD,OSDA & RPL.4. PANTISS has also trained 2270 candidates of VRS optees /
their dependants from PSU of Govt. Of India in Jharkhand, Hyderabad and Bangalore in
the sector of Telecom, Electrical & Hardware, Plumber, Agriculture, Retail and Beauty
and Wellness sector. Most of our trainees are now well placed in both public as well as
private sector. Many of them have established themselves as successful entrepreneur.

PANTISS IMPACT

Agriculture is a traditional occupation and the way of living of the inhabitants of the
Ganjam District. The District is well known for its fertile soil and agricultural productivity.
A large variety of crops are grown here like Paddy, Ground nut, Sugar cane, Oil seeds,
Ragi, Mung, Biri etc. Because of the agro climatic condition Ganjam is included as the
agricultural District.
4. Project Rationale:
The project aims to enhance the skill set of SHG members through an advanced training
program. Building on the positive response from previous beneficiaries, this initiative
seeks to provide a more targeted and specialized training experience. The goal is to
empower women with advanced techniques, industry-relevant knowledge, and practical
expertise, thereby contributing to their professional growth and the overall
improvement of manufacturing unit.
Here are some considerations that have been contributed to the demand and interest in
such training:

Growing consumer awareness and demand for sustainable and eco-friendly products will
drive slipper manufacturers to adopt environmentally friendly materials and production
processes.
Implementation of circular economy principles, such as recycling and upcycling, could
become more prevalent in the industry.

1. Improve livelihood opportunity of SHG members
through skilling on market-focused skills and
entrepreneurship promotion.

2. To undertake skilling of 60 members of SHG in Hawai
Slipper assembling.

• Dissemination of Skills and services to the underserved, unserved and
unreached areas.
• Better skilled and oriented cadres and individuals.
• Improve livelihood opportunity of SHG members through skilling on market-
focused skills and entrepreneurship promotion.
• To undertake skilling of 60 SHG members in Hawai Slipper assembling.

• Facilitate SHGs/Producer Groups-credit linkage, branding and market
linkage.Improved organization and better entrepreneur ability among the
people in the community.
