5th RBUSL NATIONAL VIRTUAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2022

The team comprising of Vishnu Priya V BBA.LLB (Hons), Shivani P BBA.LLB (Hons) and
Susamskritha S B.A.LLB(Hons) from IV year has been adjudged as Winners in the 5th RBUSL
National Virtual Moot Court Competition 2022. Vishnu Priya V from BBA.LLB (Hons)- IV
years has been adjudged the Best Orator.
NATIONAL LAW SCHOOL TRILEGAL INTERNATIONAL
ARBITRATION MOOT, 2022

Presenting team Rockwell- Semifinalists of the National Law School Trilegal International
Arbitration Moot, 2022. (NLSTIAM) conducted by NLSIU, Bangalore.
Mansi Sethiya Jain was also awarded the Best Speaker of the Competition.
Standing true to their team name, despite Semester Exams, this team comprising of Aamena
Chhagan, Jahnavi Shankar, Mansi Sethiya, and Netra Parmar from BBA LLB (Hons.) rocked
the competition.

Four rigorous rounds of Prelims, followed by advanced rounds were conducted from the 16th
to 19th of June, 2022. The panel of judges comprised of renowned Arbitrators from different
jurisdictions of the world.
4TH VITSOL NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION ON
CORPORATE LAW

Team VNMC414 - Ms. Charishma V, Ms. Saindhavi S and Ms. Nishasri S. This team
represented the School Of Excellence in Law, TNDALU in the 4th VITSOL National Moot
Court Competition on Corporate Law conducted by VIT, Chennai.
Speaker 1 - Ms. Nishasri S was declared as the 2nd Best Speaker. The moot court competition
witnessed participation from 35 teams from all over India and the team VNMC 414 was
adjudged as the Semi-Finalists of the Moot Court Competition.
SVKM NMIMS 4TH INTERNATIONAL MOOT COURT
COMPETITION ON INTERNATIONAL CRIMINAL LAW

Team T01 - Ms. Tejaswini.U, Ms. Susmithaa Shri.R, Ms. Nishasri S


The team represented our institute in the SVKM NMIMS 4th International Moot Court
Competition on International Criminal Law. This moot witnessed stiff competition from more
than 30 teams including 8 International teams from Singapore, Scotland, Ireland and so.
Team T01 bagged the 2nd Runners Up and, the second speaker Ms. Nishasri S was adjudged
the 2nd Best Speaker of the competition. The moot problem was drafted by Mr. Ankoosh
Mehta, Partner Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas. It dealt with International Humanitarian crimes
during times of Non-International Armed Conflict and issues on budding jurisprudence on the
legality of autonomous drone strikes.
8th INTERNATIONAL LAW MOOT COURT COMPETITION BY
KARNATAKA STATE LAW UNIVERSITY

The team comprising Sindhanaa Andavan, D.K. Amrutha, and Mirudhula A. from B.A. LL.B.
(Hons.) - IV year emerged as "Winners" at the 8th International Law Moot Court Competition
by Karnataka State Law University. Further, Mirudhula A. was adjudged as the "Best
Researcher" of the competition. The final round was adjudged by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Maralur
Indrakumar Arun, Judge, High Court of Karnataka along with Hon'ble Mr. Justice Ravi V.
Hosmani, Judge, High Court of Karnataka and Former principal of R.L. Law College, Belagavi,
Prof. D.Y. Kulkarni, an eminent international law scholar. The moot problem revolved around
contemporary issues of Public International Law including the use of force, the right to
secession, and human rights violations.
1ST NATIONAL CONSTITUTIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION
CONDUCTED BY SARASWATHY LAW COLLEGE AND INSTITUTE
OF LEGAL EDUCATION

Team: T055 - Mr. Pragadeeshwaran B M, Mr. Mukilan V and Mr. Amshuman. This team
represented the School of Excellence in Law, TNDALU in the 1st National Constitutional Moot
Court Competition conducted by Saraswathy Law College and Institute of Legal Education
Researcher - Pragadeeshwaran B M was declared Best Researcher. The moot court competition
witnessed 40 Teams in the Oral Round. T055 was selected to the Top 8 teams for Quarter Finals.
3RD GOENKA UNIVERSITY INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL LAW AND
TECHNOLOGY MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2022

The team comprising Ponmani Durairaj, Priyadharshini Lingesan, and Kumudaa Gunasekaran
from LLB (Hons)- IInd year have been adjudged as the winners of the 3rd Goenka University
International Virtual Law and Technology Moot Court Competition, 2022 in association with
Cyberlaw University.

The final round was judged by Justice Badar Durrez Ahmad, Retd. Chief justice of Jammu &
kashmir, Mr. Pradeep Rai vice president supreme court Bar Association, Dr. Alok Mishra
member secretary Legal Affairs at Association of Indian Universities, Mr. Alok Vijayant former
director NTRO, Dr. Pavan Duggal Advocate cyber law Expert supreme court , Dr Tabrez
Ahmad VC GDGU, Dr Azim Khan Pathan HOD GDGU.
8TH AURO NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, AURO
UNIVERSITY, COMPETITION COMMISSION OF INDIA

Team TC05 - Ms. Aishwarya Vaidhyanathan, Ms. Nishasri S, and Ms. Charishma V. This team
represented the School Of Excellence in Law, TNDALU in the 8th AURO National Moot Court
Competition conducted by AURO University in Collaboration with the Competition
Commission of India

Speaker 1 - Ms. Aishwarya Vaidhyanathan was declared the 2nd Best Speaker. The moot court
competition witnessed participation from over 40 teams from all over India and the team TC05
was adjudged as the Semi-Finalists of the Moot Court Competition.

The moot problem was an interplay between IPR and competition law. The moot problem was
well-drafted and was putting forth the existing legal tussle between CCI and other regulatory
authorities.
3RD SURANA & SURANA DR. AT MARKOSE TECHNOLOGY MOOT COURT,
CUSAT SCHOOL OF LEGAL STUDIES, COCHIN

The team comprising of Miss. H N Shree Harini, Mr. Surya S P and Mr. Shakthi Bharath, who
have been adjudged the Winners of 3rd Surana & Surana Dr. AT Markose Technology Moot
Court Competition by CUSAT School of Legal Studies, Cochin. The final round was judged
by the Hon'ble Judges of Kerala High Court. Adding a cherry to the winning cream, Miss H N
Shree Harini was declared the Best Speaker- Finals by the Hon'ble Bench.
MBA NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, THE MADRAS BAR
ASSOCIATION

Team MBA-05 represented the School of Excellence in Law in the MBA Moot Court
Competition organized by the Madras Bar Association. The team comprised *Ms. Sindhana
Andavan, Ms. Nishasri S, and Mr. Vishnu Priyan. The Moot Court Competition witnessed
participation from 24 Law schools. The team emerged as Semi-Finalists and the Semi Final
round was judged by Senior counsels namely, Mr. STS Murthi, Mr. P.H. Arvindh Pandian, and
Mr. Satish Parasaran.

Ms. Nishasri S was adjudged the Best Speaker, and Mr. Vishnu Priyan bagged the Best
Researcher award. The Hon’ble Governor of Tamil Nadu Thiru R.N. Ravi gave the awards in
the presence of the Hon’ble Acting Chief Justice, High Court of Madras Thiru T. Raja, MBA
President Mr. Kamalanathan, MBA Secretary Mr. D. Sreenivasan. The contentious issues relate
to a variety of subjects, including press freedom under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention)
Act, the scope of what constitutes a legitimate expression of dissent, the rights of privacy of
journalists in the light of telephone tapping, and the collection of voice samples.
2ND VIRTUAL NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION 2022,
ICFAI LAW SCHOOL

It takes immense pleasure in announcing that the team comprising of H. N. Shree Harini (III
Year, BBA LLB Hons), S. Nishasri (IV Year, BCA LLB Hons) and S. Sushmitha (III Year, B
Com LLB Hons) have been adjudged the Winners of the 2nd Virtual National Moot Court
Competition 2022 organized by ICFAI Law School, ICFAI University, Dehradun.

The valedictory ceremony was presided over by Hon'ble Justice Arijit Pasayat, Former Judge,
Supreme Court of India, Adv. Pradeep Rai, Senior Advocate, Vice President, SCBA and
Hon'ble Justice Rajesh Tandon, Former Judge, Uttarakhand High Court.
NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, UTKAL UNIVERSITY,
BHUBANESHWAR, ODISHA

The team comprising Ms. Amrutha DK (IV Year, BA LLB Hons.) and Mr. Amrith R (IV Year,
BA LLB Hons.) has been adjudged as the Runners Up of the National Moot Court Competition
by University Law College, Utkal University, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha. The final round was
judged by Senior Advocates of Odisha High Court and the team was felicitated by Hon’ble J.
A. Suryanarayan Naidu, Retired Judge, Orissa High Court. Mr. Amrith was also adjudged as
the Best Speaker-Male.
II BASANT MEMORIAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, CT
UNIVERSITY, PUNJAB

The team comprising of Mr. Surya Sivakumar (III BBA LLB), Ms. Amrutha DK (IV BA LLB)
& Ms. Donna Gadiel D (II BCOM LLB) has been adjudged the RUNNERS UP of II BASANT
MEMORIAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION organized by CT UNIVERSITY, PUNJAB.

The competition witnessed the participation of more than 35 teams from all over the country.
The final round was judged by Hon'ble Justice. Ajay S, Allahabad High Court, Adv.
Dhanmohan, Senior Advocate Delhi High Court, Advocate Deepinder Singh Gill, Advocate-
Punjab and Haryana High Court, Prof. Raj Sandhu, Department of Law, Jammu University.
PADMA VIBHUSHAN N A PALKHIVALA MEMORIAL NATIONAL
MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2022

The team comprising of Ms. Charishma V IV BBA LLB (hons), Ms. Saindhavi S IV BA LLB
(hons) and Ms. Shree Harini HN III BBA LLB (hons) has been adjudged as 1ST RUNNERS
UP of the Padma Vibhushan N A Palkhivala Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2022
organised by MNLU- Mumbai in association with All India Federation of Tax Practitioners,
ITAT Bar Association, Mumbai and GST Practitioners' Association, Maharashtra.

The final rounds was judged by Hon’ble Justice Sonia Gokani, High Court of Gujarat and
Hon’ble Justice Valmiki Menezes, High Court of Bombay. The results were declared in the
presence of Judges, GSTPAT President, Senior Advocates, Advocates and other members.

Competition - 3rd National Virtual Moot Court Competition, 2022 by Thomas George &
Associates. Quater Finalist! The competition witnessed the participation of 20 teams from all
over the country. Adjudged - BEST MEMORIAL

The final round was judged by Hon'ble Mrs. Justice Surepalli Nanda of the High Court of
Telengana and Hon'ble Sri Justice Mummineni Sudheer Kumar of the High Court of
Telengana. The results were declared in the presence of the Hon'ble judges, Mr. Thomas
George and Mr. Manav Gecil Thomas (Partners in Thomas George & Associates) and other
advocates.
JUSTICE G.D. KAMAT MEMORIAL NATIONAL MOOT COURT
COMPETITION

The team comprising of Sindhanaa Andavan BA LLB (hons) IV Year, S. Saindhavi BA LLB
(hons) IV year and Charishma. V BBA LLB (hons) IV year bagged the Best Memorial award
in Justice G.D. Kamat Memorial National Moot court competition conducted by V. M.
Salgocar College of Law, Goa.
The competition witnessed participation from 30 teams all over India. The team received the
award in the presence of Hon'ble Shri. Justice. Mahesh S. Sonak, Judge, High Court of Bombay
at Goa.
3rd NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, ADAMAS UNIVERSITY,
KOLKATA

The team consisting of Amshuman Sankar R, IIIRD YEAR, B.A.LL.B(HONS.), Bavithra.S,


IIIRD YEAR,B.A.LL.B(HONS.) and K. Kishore Gokul, IIIRD YEAR, B.A.LL.B(HONS.)
qualified for the Quarter Finals in 3rd National Moot Court Competition, Adamas University,
Kolkata amongst 28 teams all over the country.
Mr. K Kishore Gokul, a visually impaired student received a special award for his indominable
perseverance.
AMICUS NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2023

The team comprising of Sushmitha S (III Year - B.Com.LLB. Hons.), Tamilarasan N (III Year
- BA.LLB. Hons.) and Tejaswini S (III Year - B.Com. LLB. Hons.) have been adjudged the
winners of the 4th Jus Amicus National Moot Court Competition, 2023 organised by the
Saveetha School of Law, Chennai in collaboration with S.S. Rana & Co. Associates.
The valedictory ceremony was presided over by Hon'ble Justice Krishnan Ramasamy, sitting
judge of Madras High Court.
2ND NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2023

The team comprising of Celin Priscilla (Ill Year - B.Com.LLB. Hons.), Ajay Wilson (III Year
B.Com.LLB. Hons.) and Charumathi (III Year B.Com.LLB. Hons.) bagged the Best memorial
award and Best researcher award in the 2nd National Moot Court Competition, 2023 conducted
by Jagarlamudi Chandramouli College of law, Guntur.
The competition witnessed participation from 32 teams all over the country. The team received
the award in the presence of Hon'ble Shri. A. Rami Reddy, Bar Council of India member and
Adv. B. Naresh, Senior advocate, A.P High Court.
17TH SHANKARRAO KANITKAR NATIONAL LEVEL MOOT COURT
COMPETITION 2023

The team comprising Ms Smrithi Anilkumar (1 Year, BBA LLB Hons), Ashwad D (I Year,
BCom LLB Hons) and Karunya V (I Year, BBA LLB Hons) had participated and had shown
excellence in their first moot court competition conducted by Modern Law College named 17th
Shankarrao Kanitkar National Level Moot Court Competition 2023 at Ganeshkhind, Pune.
Mr Ashwad D, out of the 64 speakers was adjudged as the "Best Speaker".
LATE SR. ADV. SHRI GIRISH PATEL NATIONAL MOOT COURT
COMPETITION

The team comprising Ms. Amrutha DK (IV Year, BA LLB Hons.), Mr. Amrith R (IV Year,
BA LLB Hons.) and Mr. Adarsh Ilango (IV Year, BA LLB Hons.) has been adjudged as the
Runners-Up of the Late Sr. Adv. Shri Girish Patel National Moot Court Competition by LJ
School Of Law, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The final round was judged by a five-judge bench of
sitting judges of the Gujarat High Court, comprising Hon'ble Mr. Justice Bhargav D. Karia,
Hon'ble Ms. Justice Gita Gopi, Hon'ble Mr. Justice Nirzar S., Desai, Hon'ble Mr. Justice
Aniruddha P. Mayee, and Hon'ble Ms. Justice Nisha M. Thakore.
Ms. Amrutha was also adjudged as the Best Speaker of the competition.
13TH GIL NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITON CONDUCTED BY
GEETA INSTITUTE OF LAW, PANIPAT, DELHI NCR

Team comprising of Harish MS, Ahamed Akhill R, Hajirath Amreen R from 1st year BA.LLB
(Hons) have been awarded 2nd Best Memorial in the presence of Hon'ble Judge of Supreme
Court, Justice. Dinesh Maheswari at the 13th GIL National Moot Court Competition conducted
by Geeta Institute of Law, Panipat, Delhi NCR. This Competition witnessed participation of
over 50 teams all across the country.
VIIth EDITION OF SHRI V. CHANDRASEKARAN MEMORIAL TAX MOOT
COURT COMPETITION, 2023

The team comprising of Nivedha.V (Vth Year - B.Com.LLB. Hons.), Priyanka.K (Vth Year
B.COM.LLB Hons.) and R.N. ROSHANSRIHARI (IVth Year - B.Com.LLB. Hons.) have
been adjudged the winners of the VIIth edition of Shri V. Chandrasekaran Memorial Tax Moot
Court Competition, 2023 organized by the School of Law, SASTRA Deemed University.
ALL INDIA MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2023 CONDUCTED BY THE
RV INSTITUTE OF LEGAL STUDIES

All India Moot Court Competition, 2023 was conducted by the RV Institute of Legal Studies
from 24th-26th February. Around 24 teams from various reputed institutions and law schools
from different parts of the country took part in the event. The team comprising of Maheswaran.
P IV BCOM LLB (HONS), Kirtida. R. R. IV BCOM LLB (HONS), Kiran Rup A. M. IV
BCOM LLB (HONS) emerged as Winners of the competition. The final round was judged by
The Hon'ble Dr. Justice H. B. Prabhakar Sastry, Hon'ble Mr. Justice R. Nataraj and Hon'ble
Mr. Justice C. M. Poonacha of Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka.
21ST ALL INDIA MOOT COMPETITION, 2023 ORGANIZED BY HIS
HIGHNESS THE MAHARAJA'S GOVERNMENT LAW COLLEGE,
ERNAKULAM, KERALA

The team comprising of P. Kiruthiga, S. Keshav Priya, and R. Priyadarshini of Final year B.
Com LLB (Hons) has been emerged as Quarter-finalist of 21st All India Moot Competition,
2023 organized by His Highness the Maharaja's Government Law College, Ernakulam, Kerala
and has been adjudicated for the 2nd Best Memorial of the competition. The final round was
judged by the Judges of Kerala High Court, comprising Hon'ble Mr. Justice Bechu Kurian
Thomas and Hon'ble Mr. Justice Gopinath Puzhankara.
3RD REVA NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2023

3rd Reva National Moot Court Competition, 2023 was conducted by Reva University,
Bengaluru from 9th to 11th March. Around 30 teams from various reputed law schools from
different parts of the country took part in the event. The team comprising of Shravan Aditya,
S.V. Dhiraj and Buvanashri Ilango were adjudged the Runners up of the competition and
received a cash prize of Rs.15,000/-.
The final rounds were judged by Hon'ble Justice Pradeep Singh Yerur and Hon'ble Justice E.S.
Indhresh of Karnataka High Court and Senior Advocate and Former Advocate General Shri
Udhaya Holla.
5th THIRU. ISARI VELAN MEMORIAL NATIONAL MOOT COURT
COMPETITION, 2023

The team comprising of Ms Donna Gadiel II BCOM LLB (Hons), Mr Surya SP, BBA LLB
(Hons) and Ms Rasha II BA LLB (Hons) emerged as SEMI-FINALISTS of the 5th Thiru. Isari
Velan Memorial National Moot Court Competition, 2023 organised by the School of Law, Vels
Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS), Chennai.
Ms. Donna Gadiel was adjudged the *BEST SPEAKER* of the competition.
LATE JUSTICE PB SAWANT NINTH NATIONAL MOOT COMPETITION,
2023

Marathwada Mitra Mandal's Shankarrao Chavan Law College hosted the prestigious Late
Justice PB Sawant Ninth National Moot Competition, 2023, where the outstanding team
comprising of Miss Supraja Anand, Miss H N Shree Harini, and Miss Sneha Rajan brilliantly
represented SOEL and emerged as the runners-up of the competition.
The inaugural ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Justice Uday Lalit, Former
Chief Justice of India, and the valedictory ceremony was presided over by the distinguished
Dr. Justice Shalini Phansalkar Joshi, former Judge of the Bombay High Court.
7th LATE SHRI VIJAY CHAVAN NATIONAL MOOT COURT
COMPETITION, 2023

Team comprising of NISHA A; YUVARAJ G; S.R.LAKSHMI PRIYA was adjudged as 2nd


RUNNER-UP out of 80 teams in 7th Late Shri Vijay Chavan National Moot Court
Competition, 2023 Brihan Maharashtra College of Commerce, Pune and won
CONSOLATION PRIZE. The highlight of the competition is that it only contains Prelims and
Finals.
8th SRM NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, 2023

8th SRM national moot court competition, 2023 was conducted by srm school of law,
Kattankulathur from 16th to 18th march. Around 25 teams from various reputed law schools
from different parts of the country took part in the event. The team consisted of Mahesh
chidambaram, Nandini N and kshiti jain. Ms. kshiti jain was adjudged the Best Researcher of
the competition and she won a cash prize worth Rs 7000.
3RD PGCL SAARC INTERNATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION,
2023

Team T-506 comprising of MS. TEJASWINI U, MS. NISHASRI S AND SUSMITHAA SHRI
R, represented the School of Excellence in Law, The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law
University in the 3rd PGCL SAARC International Moot Court Competition, 2023 conducted
from 16th to 19th March, 2023. This competition witnessed an intellectual battle between
competent law students from SAARC countries such as Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Afghanistan,
Nepal and Bhutan. The Team was adjudged as the WINNER of this International Moot Court
Competition.
The problem dealt with Rights of LGBTIQ+ individuals, International Law on Crimes against
Humanity and other issues pertaining to Criminal jurisprudence before the International
Criminal Court. The final rounds had two sessions where the team argued for both sides. These
sessions were judged by esteemed panel of judges consisting of Senior Advocate and Former
External Affairs Minister, Mr. Salman Kurshid, Additional Solicitor Generals of India namely,
Dr. Devang Vyas, Mr. Jayant Sud, Mr. Nargund MB, Ms. Aishwarya Bhati, and other Senior
Advocates namely, Ms. Sonia Mathur, Ms. Rachana Srivatsava, Mr. Manish Vashisht and Mr.
Pradeep Rai.
2nd VIRTUAL NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION BY DR. D.Y
PATIL LAW COLLEGE, PUNE IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE BOARD OF
STUDENT DEVELOPMENT, SPPU

The team comprising of Mr. Surya Sivakumar III BBA LLB(Hons.), Mr. Ashwad I BCOM
LLB(Hons.) and Mr. Sharukh Ahamed III BBA LLB(Hons.) has been adjudged as the
WINNER of 2nd Virtual National Moot Court Competition by Dr. D.Y Patil Law College,
Pune in association with the Board of Student Development, SPPU. The competition had a
participation of reputed teams all over the country.
The final round and the valedictory ceremony was presided over by Justice Umesh Jawalikar,
Senior Counsel Mr. Pradeep Rai - Vice President, Supreme Court Bar Association, Senior
Counsel Mr. Ashish Agarwal - High Court of Bombay and Dr. Jyothi Pawar - Director of Law,
Singhania University. Wishing the team good luck for future endeavors.
LATE ADV. IQBAL MOHAMMED YUSUF MOOT COURT COMPETITION
OF LAW TRYST 2023

country participated.
The finals was adjudged by Justice. Milind Jadhav and Justice. Prithviraj Chavan (senior judge)

OF LAW TRYST 2023

The trio consisting of Dhivyaa R., Harshitha S.S. and Rithu Thiru won the Best Memorial
award and emerged as the Quarter Finalists in the Late Adv. Iqbal Mohammed Yusuf Moot
Court Competition of Law Tryst 2023.
The finals was presided over by Justice. Milind Jadhav and Justice. Prithviraj Chavan (senior
judge) the sitting bench of Bombay High Court.
18th KSHAN TRIAL AND APPELLATE MOOT COURT COMPETITION,
2023

The High Court of Maharashtra has pronounced a judgement- "It's K7" Presenting to you the
Prosecutors - DK Amrutha, HN Shree Harini, and V Manav Bafna who were adjudged the
Runners Up of the 18th Kshan Trial and Appellate Moot Court Competition, 2023 organized
by GH Raisoni Law College, Nagpur.
The judgement was delivered by a Division Bench- Hon'ble Shri Justice Vinay Joshi, Hon'ble
Shri Justice Avinash G Gharote, Bombay High Court.
2nd B.S. ABDUR RAHMAN NATIONAL MOOT COURT
COMPETITION, 2023

The team comprising of Sushmitha S (III Year - B.Com.LLB. Hons.), Tejaswini S (III Year -
B.Com.LLB. Hons.) and Rishikhaa R (III Year - B.Com.LLB. Hons.) qualified for the
Semifinals in the 2nd B.S. Abdur Rahman National Moot Court Competition, 2023, organised
by the Crescent School of Law, Chennai amongst 24 teams all over the country.
Ms. Sushmitha S was adjudged as the Best Speaker - Female.
The valedictory was presided over by Justice J. Sathya Narayana Prasad, sitting judge of
Madras High Court.
1st NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION

The team comprising of Amrutha D K IV BA LLB(Hons.), Surya Sivakumar III BBA LLB
(Hons.) and Annapuranni II BCOM LLB (Hons.) has been adjudged as the *WINNERS* of
1st National Moot Court Competition conducted by Bharath Institute of Law, Chennai. The
competition witnessed the participation of 42 teams all over the country. Additionally, Ms.
Amrutha was adjudged as the BEST SPEAKER among the 126 participants of the competition.
The final round and the valedictory ceremony of the competition was presided over by Hon'ble
Justice Akbar Ali, Hon'ble Justice Sivasubramaniyam, Hon'ble Justice C.T. Selvam of Madras
High Court, Senior Counsel Mr. Sambamurthy (Madras High Court), Mr. David Ambrose
(Director of Legal Studies, Madras University) and Mrs. Rajeshwari (Director of Law,
Chettinad School of Law).
BARRISTER M K NAMBYAR CHAIR ON CONSTITUTIONAL
AND ADMINISTRATIVE LAW, NATIONAL MOOT COURT
COMPETITION, 2023

The team comprising of Ms. Maryum Ameen, Mr. Kamaleshnath and Ms. Nirosha Dhilip, Ms.
Maryum Ameen bagged the best speaker award in the Barrister M K Nambyar chair on
Constitutional and Administrative law, National Moot Court Competition, 2023
It is also noteworthy to mention that the team finished off as Quarter-finalist in the competition.
PADMA SHRI N.N. JAIN NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION,
2023

Suruthi Sundari N (1st year), Subash Ramanan S (1st year) and Moulitharun S (3rd year) were
adjudged as the runner up of the Padma Shri N.N. Jain National Moot Court Competition, 2023.
Suruthi Sundari N was also adjudged as the Best Mooter.
6TH EDITION OF SURANA & SURANA AND SHAASTRA IIT
MADRAS, INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LAW MOOT COMPETITION
2022-2023

The team IP-8 consisting of Ms. Donna Gadiel II Bcom LLB (Hons.), Ms. Nishasri S IV BCA
LLB (Hons.) and Ms. Jahnavi S V BBA LLB (Hons.) represented our university in the 6th
edition of Surana & Surana and Shaastra IIT Madras, Intellectual Property Law Moot
Competition 2022-2023.
The Team bagged the 2nd Runners Up and Ms. Nishasri S was adjudged the 3rd Best Student
Advocate of the competition.
The competition witnessed the participation of 16 teams from all over the country after a strict
memo qualifier round.
4TH LEX COMMUNIQUE NATIONAL TRIAL ADVOCACY
COMPETITION, 2023

Team comprising of Aamena Chhagan, Jahnavi S, Mansi Sethiya and Netra Parmar from BBA
LLB (Hons)-V have been declared as the WINNER of the 4th Lex Communique National Trial
Advocacy Competition, 2023.
3rd NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, BAHRA
UNIVERSITY, SHIMLA

The team comprising of Amrutha D K, Surya Sivakumar and Supraja Anand has been adjudged
as the *WINNER* of the 3rd National Moot Court Competition, Bahra University, Shimla.
The competition witnessed the participation of 28 reputed teams across the nation.

The final round was judged by Hon'ble Mr. Justice Surender Singh Thakur (Hon'ble HIGH
COURT OF HP), Shri. Prem Pal Ranta, (Distt and Session Judge, Shimla), Prof. Dr Sanjay
Sindhu (Dean, Faculty of Law and Chairman, Department of Laws Himachal Pradesh
University, Shimla).
10TH EDITION OF ASTRAEA NATIONAL MOOT COURT
COMPETITION, SHRI JAYANTILAL H PATEL LAW COLLEGE

MCA adds a feather in its cap by announcing that the team comprising first years, Mr. Ashwad
D of BCom LLB (Hons.), Mr. Madhavan S of BA LLB (Hons.) and Ms. Meena Dharshini BA
LLB (Hons.) who had been adjudged as “RUNNER UP” of the 10th Edition of Astraea
National Moot Court Competition held at Shri Jayantilal H Patel Law College, Mumbai.

The fest witnessed heavy competition from NLUs, State Universities and esteemed other
colleges with the proposition being on the Hijab Issue of Karnataka. It is to be noted that the
event was presided by Hon’ble Shri Justice S J Kathawalla, Former Judge, Bombay High Court.
7TH NATIONAL MOOT COURT COMPETITION, SEVA MANDAL
SOCIETY’S SHAH LAW COLLEGE

The “TEAM-100S”, comprising of Abarajitha. R.B -B.A., LL.B (Hons) IVth year, Oviya. B -
B.Com., LL.B (Hons) IVth year & Jaisurya. R -B.C.A., LL.B (Hons) IVth year, was adjudged
as the “WINNERS - BEST TEAM” by the Hon’ble panel of judges with (2 senior advocates
of Hon’ble Bombay High Court & 1 Senior Doctor who represented India in World Health
Organisation, Geneva) in the 7th National Moot Court Competition conducted by Seva Mandal
Society’s SHAH LAW COLLEGE, Mumbai.

The Champions conquered the Trophy after intense competition in two preliminary rounds and
a Semi-final round, qualifying out of 24 teams from all around India. Also, the team was
admired and specially mentioned for their Memorial and Research Work.
1ST VIRTUAL SHRI RAMSWAROOP MEMORIAL NATIONAL MOOT
COURT COMPETITION, 2023

Team comprising Harish. M. S [BALLB (Hons.) 1st Year], Sruthi. R [BBALLB (Hons.) 2nd
Year] and Sahithiya Nirupen. S [BCALLB (Hons.) 2nd Year] has achieved the position of
runners-up in the 1st Virtual Shri Ramswaroop Memorial National Moot Court Competition.
They competed against about 30 teams from all over India.
The final round was judged by Hon'ble Justice Shamim Ahmed Khan, Sitting Justice at High
Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench, Hon'ble Justice Pradeep Kumar Srivastava,
Former Justice at High Court of Judicature at Allahabad, Lucknow Bench. Present Chairman
Uttar Pradesh State Law Commission. Prof. (Dr.) Rohit P Shabran, Director Institute of Legal
Studies, SRMU
64TH PHILIP C. JESSUP INTERNATIONAL LAW MOOT COURT
COMPETITION

The team comprising of Smriti R. Saroja, Sowmya Mahalingam, Yashaswini Manasa and
Sunand Subramaniam from the 4th year represented our university at the 64th Philip C. Jessup
International Law moot court competition.

In the Indian Qualifying rounds, the team competed against 38 Universities and were semi-
finalists. They also won awards for the 3rd and 4th best speakers (out of 100+).

Since they were among the top 4 teams in India, they were invited to the international rounds
which took place at the Hyatt Regency, Washington DC. The International rounds witnessed
the participation of the top 138 teams (the best teams from each country) around the world.

In the international rounds, the team competed against some of the best universities from
Luxembourg,
Ghana, Colombia, Netherlands, Oxford University, UK, and Columbia Law School, USA.

After having defeated some of the most renowned universities, the team was ranked among the
'Top 32' out of around 600 universities that participated in this year's competition.

This is the Best performance of our University at this Competition, and the team would like to
thank the VC, Registrar, Dean UG, and the Moot Court Faculty for all their support.
