Under instructions and on behalf of my client, Mr. Tarun, the owner of the premises situated at 111/20,
Shakti Society, Kanpur, I hereby serve you with this legal notice as follows:
1. That my client had rented out the aforesaid premises to you for a period of one year under a rent
agreement dated 1st January 2020.
2. Clause 9(iii) of the said agreement specifically states that in case of any permanent damage caused to
the premises without informing the landlord, the landlord shall have the right to terminate the tenancy by
sending a week notice for vacating the premises, failing which legal action shall be initiated.
3. On 26th June 2020, you constructed a wall in the living room of the premises, which resulted in
damage to the interior design of the flat.
4. And you carried out the said modification without obtaining prior permission from my client, thereby
violating the terms and conditions of the rent agreement.
5. That due to your unauthorized construction, my client has suffered a loss in the value and aesthetics of
his property.
Therefore, through this notice, you are hereby directed to vacate the premises within seven (7) days from
the date of receipt of this notice, failing to which, my client shall be compelled to initiate legal
proceedings against you for eviction, damages, and any other appropriate relief as per the law.
This notice is being sent to you as per legal requirement. Kindly take it seriously to avoid any further
legal consequences.
A copy of this notice has been retained in my office for further action if required.
