Ilan's Guide to engineering courses

Choosing an engineering degree when you're smart and have a lot choices can be quite difficult and
overwhelming. But put your worries to rest because your days of spending dreadful hours of hopelessly
browsing through the internet to find your calling are over because this article may just bring you closer
to your destiny.

1.EEE: a branch that deals with electricity, electronics and electromagnetism (I know extensively about
all these topics). From large scale production like motors and power transmission to small scale circuits
and microchips.

~International prospects: (High demand)

>Diverse field like telecom, power and energy, AI, robotics, cybersecurity, etc.

>Global career opportunities, especially in countries like the US,UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan
have strong demand.(easy to get skilled worker visa)

>High salary potential

~National prospects: (Not as strong)

>Too saturated field

>Many EEE shift to software engineering for better salaries

>Fewer research option

2.Industrial Engineering Man: optimizing production process, supply chain, quality control and efficiency
in industries. A combination of engineering, business and management.

~International: (high demand)

>Highly demanding in USA, Germany, India

>Global companies like Amazon, FedEx hire graduates

>Entry level salary good but time may make you a rich bitch

>High mobility, as in you can transfer your work anywhere in the world

~National: (emerging field)

>huge opportunity in garments industry

>entry level salary meh.

>limited high level roles with too much competition

>Fast growing field

3.Electronics and Communication Engineering: deals with electronic circuits, signal processing,
communication systems. Designing and developing electronic devices and telecom networks. Crucial
industries include Telecom, IT, consumer electronics, automation.

~International:(strong)

>Taiwan, S.Korea, Japan, Germany, USA

>Consumer electronics companies include Samsung,Sony,Tesla,Intel,Apple

>High demand in tech hubs like Silicon Valley, Munich and Seoul.

>secure easy skilled visa

~National: decent but limited

>Grameenphone, Robi, Banglalink, Teletalk, Walton, Minister

>starting salary comparatively high

>lacks research opportunity

>Demand will increase by a lot very soon

4.Biomedical Engineering: developing medical devices, prosthetics, healthcare technologies

~International: Strong demand

>Advancing rapidly all over, espcially in USA, Germ, Switz, Japan

>HIGH HIGH salary

~National: still developing

>limited job opportunities

>Limited research opportunities

>Good enough starting salary in pricate hospitals like United, Square, Evercare
