Install Figma on a local machine and understand the Figma software IDE.

Practical Assignment #02:


Install Figma on your local machine by downloading the desktop app from Figma's website. Familiarize
yourself with the software's interface, which includes a canvas for designing, layers and assets panels for
organization, and powerful tools for creating, prototyping, and collaborating in real time. Take 2-3 screenshots
of the work done to get familiar with the IDE.

Canvas: The central workspace where designs are created and manipulated. It allows for infinite
design space and zooming in/out for detailed work.
Layers Panel: Organizes design elements hierarchically, allowing easy navigation and management of
objects in the design. It helps maintain structure and control over complex designs.
Assets Panel: Contains reusable components, styles, and icons, enabling quick access to assets for
consistent design. It also allows for easy drag-and-drop functionality into the canvas.
Tools: Figma provides vector editing, text tools, and drawing capabilities for precise design work. It
also includes prototyping tools for creating interactive designs and animations.
Prototyping: Allows users to create interactive flows between frames, simulating navigation and
interactions. It enables testing and showcasing of design behaviors in real time.
