- Greeting
1 Warm – up - Play a video for children to dance together
- Check and correct homework.

PLAY THE GAME


- Place an item (a book, pen) in, on, under or next
to another item. Ask Where is my pen?
- Children should answer with a full sentence
Example: It’s in your bag./ It’s on your desk.

Review It’s next to your book./ It’s under your chair…


- You can divided class into 2 teams if you like,
asking questions to children from each team in
turn and awarding one point for each correct
answer.

Say “So, today we are going to continue with Unit


1- OUR HOME, lesson 2. You will need your
3 Starting the lesson student’s book at first. Have you got them
already?
I. Story page 06
1. Listen
- Ask children to open their books on page 06.
- Ask children to look at the pictures in the story.
Ask What is this? Who is this? Where is Holly/
Mum/Dad? about each picture.
- Play the audio for the children to listen and
follow the story in their books.
- Play the recording again, pausing after each line
for the children to listen and repeat, first chorally,
then individually.
- Ask children to find and say indefinite pronouns
from the story. Ask children to say whether each
pronoun refers to a person, place or thing.
4 - Divide the class into groups of three and allow
the children time to practice acting out the story.
- Invite groups of children to act out the story for
the class.

LESSON 02

2. Look and write


* Indefinite pronouns
*Practice:
-Write the headings People, Places, and Things on
the board.
- Ask the children to call out the words in orange
from the story and say which heading each word
should go under.
- Write the words under the correct headings, or
invite children to come to the board and do so.
- Read out the first gapped sentence and ask
children to suggest the correct word to complete
it.
- Move around the classroom as the children work
and help if necessary.
- Invite children around the class to read out the
completed sentences.

Play a game for children to revise Indefinite


pronouns.
- Invite a child to stand up and choose the correct
answer.

II. Reading and Writing


1. Read and write the words in the gaps.
- Teacher asks students open their book on page
07.
- Tell pupils to look at the pictures and say who or
what they can see, where each person is and what
each person is doing. Explain that all of the texts
are about Holly and Harry’s family.
- Teacher reads out the words in the box above
the first picture. Ask children to say what kind of
word each word in the box is.
- Tell the children that they need to copy the
words from the box into the correct gaps in the
text. Remind all students to think about the
meaning of the sentence and what kind if word is
needed to complete each sentence.
- Tell the children to check their spelling carefully
when they have copied the words.
- Allow the children time to complete the activity
in their books.
* Play a game (if there is enough time.)
-Teacher divided class in 3 groups. Choose the
leader, the name of each group
- Then, teacher will show the picture on the
screen. The teams hit the bell win the right
7 Wrap- up
answer, the correct answer will take your point,
otherwise, about the wrong answer, other teams
will click the bell won the right to answer.
 The team gets the highest points becoming the
winner.

write it
