RECOGNITION/MOVING UP/ GRADUATION CEREMONY

SCRIPT FOR MASTERS OF CEREMONY

PART I: RECOGNITION / MOVING UP CEREMONY


Processional:
Emcee 1 :
This day signifies the completion of our students tasks and the beginning
of another chapter in their pursuit towards achieving their dreams. This is
a great product of resiliency. Today, another history slowly unfolds as we
come an end of the School Year ___________.
Friends, Welcome to the _______ Graduation and _____Moving Up Ceremony
of _____________________. At this juncture, we shall witness the entrance of
the colors, the candidates for graduation and completion together with
their parents, Honor students, Deped officials, Brgy. Officials, the PTA
officers and MMNHS faculty and staff .Ladies and gentlemen, the
Processional.
National Anthem:
Emcee 1:
It is said that “ A man is a patriot if his heart beats true to his country.”
Please remain standing as we display our spirit of patriotism in singing
the National Anthem to be followed by the singing of DepEd Region Hymn,
and our alma mater hymn. This will be followed by the opening prayer to
be led by ___________ JHS completer. Ladies and Gentlemen, ang Pambanang
Awit ng Pilipinas.
Opening Remarks:

You may now be seated, “ What you do has far greater impact than what
you say.” To formally open today’s ceremony, Ladies and gentlemen ,

Inspirational Message:
Emcee 1:
Thank you so much Sir. The school couldn’t function well without the
support of its stakeholders. All through these years, our barangay officials
have worked hand in hand with the school for the betterment of the
school itself and most of all for our learners. To inspire us with his words,
friends, let us welcome the very compassionate man, our Barangay
Chairman, Hon____________.
Presentation and Awarding of Academic Excellence Awards
Emcee 1:
“Excellence is not being the best; It is doing your best.” At this moment,
we shall honor the students who have done their best and excel even in
this very difficult times. To present the Academic Awards may I call on

and ____________ for Senior High School Grade 11 awardees..

Congratulations students for a job well done, and of course

“A good head and a good heart is a memorable combination.” A good head
and a good heart is a great duo in Pursuing our dreams and Fostering
Resilience in the face of adversity.
For the past 10 months, these students in front of us have proven their
worth to be become a member of this year’s moving up ceremony.
To start with , I would like to greet the people who grace this affair. To our
very active Public Schools District Supervisor , __________, , our visionary
Education Program Specialist, _____________, Our Guest Speaker,
_____________, Barangay Officials, headed by our very compassionate Brgy.
Chairman , ____________, the distinguished teaching staff headed by the
dynamic and supportive School Head, _____________, PTA officers and
members who are with us today, members of the Junior High School
completers, candidates for graduation, students, guests good morning.
WELCOME REMARKS:
To set the tone of this morning’s event, let us welcome , _________, Junior

Presentation of Completers
“ If we commit ourselves to the successful completion of task, then we
personify excellence.” To present the Junior High School Candidates for
completion, May we have on the stage, our school principal , _________. This
will be followed by the confirmation and the message to our completers by
no other than our Public Schools District Supervisor, _______________.

AWARDING OF CERTIFICATE TO JHS


Completed, Ticked, Done , Finished. This refers to all the tasks you have
complied as Grade 10 students. And now you are ready for your next
journey. To award your ticket to the next adventure, that is your
certificate of completion and to award the certificate of appreciation to
the JHS parents, May we have on the stage again, our Public Schools
District Supervisor, ____________, to be assisted by our school principal,
____________ with ___________ as presenter.
AWARDING OF ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE AWARDS
Nothing is Impossible, the word itself says I’m possible. In the midst of the
difficulties brought by this pandemic, still these students showed
resilience and finished this school year with flying colors. To present the
Academic Excellence awardees for Junior High School Completers, may I

Part III
Resilience is accepting the new reality, even if it’s less good than the one
you had before. At the start of the pandemic, we were made to stay at the
four corners of our homes. Months passed , we supported DepEd’s call
that education should not be postponed , and you, candidates for
graduation, accepted the reality that things won’t be the same anymore,
so you continued your studies through modular learning, this year some of
you were brave enough to attend the face to face classes.
It is high time now for your resiliency to be recognized and awarded. To
present the candidates for graduation , May we have our school principal,
________, this will be followed by the confirmation of the graduates by our
brilliant Schools Division Superintendent, ____________________.
AWARDING of DIPLOMA
Education is the passport to the future, for tomorrow belongs to those
who prepare for it today, To award the Diploma to the graduates and the
certificate of appreciation to the parents of the graduating class, Friends,

years of fruitful and productive leadership spent in Mena Memorial High

Our dear completers, Graduates , let me quote some words from the lyrics
of a song. :
“ My wish for you is that life becomes all that you want it to, Your dreams

you know somebody loves you, ( That is us, your teachers) who wants the
same things to.

It’s been our pleasure to be with you this morning.
