Airside

Ensure to take proper rest before resuming duties


Use suitable PPE as per allocation

3 times FOD checks to be carried out


(Pre-arrival, Pre-departure & Post departure of Aircraft)

Before Approaching Aircraft, Check


• Aircraft must come to a complete stop and engines should spool down
• Anti-collision beacon to be off & chocks to be placed
• Clearance from AME/Technician

Make all efforts to keep the Pax Ramp Dry and display
Caution board (Wet Floor) on Pax Ramp, Inform crew
to make announcement to deplane cautiously

Be Cautious at Airside
Stay away from moving Equipment/Vehicles to Avoid Injuries

Tow Eye

Ensure to secure trolley by placing tow


handle perpendicular and use locking Grab Handle
mechanism

• If any Damaged observed in hold report immediately

While Handling PRM Customers, Ensure:


• Customers fasten seat belt
• 02 Helpers assist customers on inclined surface/slope

Clear Fuel Bowser Exit, no trolley or equipment should block
Fuel bowser’s Exit

Safe loading of HUM,


Head position towards nose of the Aircraft
No Deadload to be loaded on top of HUM

Wing walking is to be done ONLY by trained & authorized personnel


Use illuminating wands during night (or) low-visibility

Hold cameras to be installed during loading/unloading.

Flight Manager
• Verify the required number of crew are on board before initiating boarding in the
aircraft
• Ramp Turnaround checklist to be timely filled with required details
• Verify 2-inch gap is maintained and Final loading Images to be captured
• Stanchion Rod and Compartment / Door side nets are locked & secured
• IndiGo Orientation Label to be followed for Special Load (PER, HUM, etc.)
• Cargo not to be loaded with unsuitable packaging (Damage/Protruding edge) to
avoid Damage to Aircraft Holds/Panels
• All equipment to be aligned and removed under supervision and with the guide
man only.

Load sheet to be verified before submission by Flight manager/Load officer on:


• Final POB with Passenger Breakup using 6E Port
• Distribution of Dead load as per LIR
• Update LDM for Special Load & NOTOC to be shared with PIC

Dress appropriately for extreme weather by selecting suitable


clothing to ensure comfort and safety.

Check-In Crew
• Profile and verify CHILD customer’s documents, In case the Customer type
in the booking is adult, the same must be changed to the child.
• If the child customer has Pre-booked exit rows, the check-in crew shall brief
the co-passenger seating criteria on the emergency rows and change the
seats accordingly
• Infant must always be assigned INFT designated ROWS only
• UMNR must always be escorted and not to be left alone
• Expectant Mothers should not be assigned EMERGENCY EXITS and personal
attention must be offered
• Ensure correct tagging of customer baggage, cross verify customer details
and destination before releasing baggage to BMA

Gate Manager
• Issue New boarding card (or) make changes on boarding
card, incase of any upgrade/downgrade of aircraft
• Age criteria, Physical and Mental health to be monitored
for the customer before assigning OWE seats.
• Incase of Handbags retrieved at Boarding Gates . DG
related questions to be asked before acceptance. (Availability of
Power Bank, Battery & Electronic devices)
• Staff travelers on jump seats require clearance from the
captain obtained through the flight manager. Ensure TOB
calculation is done before releasing them.
In case of system alert for “Passenger Already
Boarded” documented SOP to be followed by the
scanning crew/ Gate manager and Gate supervisor.

GNS drill to be proactively initiated and revised count to be shared with


specific details to Flight Manager via call and seek acknowledgment
