COURSE OBJECTIVE
To enhance the student’s ability to understand the applications of statistics and data in the field
of engineering and technology.
COURSE OUTCOMES
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to
CO1: Understand the concept of probability, random variable, mean, variance, expectation, and
moment generating function.
CO2: Understand the concept of special discrete and continuous distributions.
CO3: Understand the concept of correlation, rank correlation, regression line.
CO4: Understand the different testing of hypothesis tests for large samples.
CO5: Understand the different testing of hypothesis tests for small samples.
