9. Experience Criteria
9.1 Tenderer shall have the construction experience of satisfactory completion of similar works of a minimum value under a single or multiple numbers of contracts over a period,
as specified in the TDS.
The minimum number of years of general experience of the Tenderer in the construction works as Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor shall be 5 (Five)
years. years counting backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper
The minimum specific experience as a Prime Contractor or Subcontractor or Management Contractor in construction works of at least Single contract(s) of similar nature,
complexity and methods/construction technology successfully completed within the last 5 (Five)years,each with a value of at least Tk. 90.00 (Ninety) Lakh. Years will be counted
backward from the date of publication of IFT in the newspaper.
Protective works; River bank protection work or Temporary/Permanent protective work with geo bag will be considered as similar work.

10.1 Tenderer shall have the following minimum level of financial capacity to qualify for the performance of the Works under the Contract.
(a) the average annual construction turnover as specified in the TDS during the period specified in the TDS
The required average annual construction turnover shall be greater than Tk. 100.00 (One Hundred) lakh over the last five (5) years. [years counting backward from the date of
publication of IFT in the newspaper]
For turnover Calculation of a specific year either Work Completion Certificate or Payment Certificate will be allowed .But both form work Work Completion Certificate or Payment
Certificate will not be allowed for a financial year.
(b) Availability of minimum liquid assets i.e. working capital or credit line(s) from any Scheduled Bank, net of other contractual commitments of the amount as specified in
the TDS
The minimum amount of liquid assets or working capital or credit facilities of the Tenderer shall be Tk. 100.00 (One Hundred) lakh.
In case of the credit certificate from bank, specific format to be used. No alteration or change in language or condition in Letter of Commitment for Bank’s Undertaking for Line of
Credit Form enclosed in tender document shall be accepted. For credit certificate specific memo no & date will be mentioned. As it is used in favor of procuring entity, original
copy will be submitted to PE as per requirement of office by Bank/tenderer on verification purpose (if required)
The minimum capacity shall be: Tk. 110.00 (One Hundred and Ten) lakh.
Special Note: “ A misrepresentation or omission regarding the value of existing commitments and ongoing works by a tenderer in the E-GP system constitutes a fraudulent
practice under ITT Clause Corrupt, Fraudulent, Collusive, Coercive or Obstructive Practices. In that case, the tenderer will be non-responsive, and further action may be taken in
accordance with PPR 127 and ITT Clause Corrupt, Fraudulent, Collusive, Coercive or Obstructive Practices.”
